I had a similar problem a while back, it wasn't the same thing, I think it was trying to enter my password so I could update my profile. Try changing browsers. I usually play in Chrome, and was confused because the pc is not used for email, surfing, or office-type stuff, only gaming. I changed browsers to Edge just long enough to get logged in and change what I wanted. I still play on Chrome, but sometimes I can't type in comms, and changing back to Edge for a while gets around that too. It might not fix your problem, but it's worth a try.
