Portal Spaces

You guys need to let us fill up this empty space on the ends of the portals. We can easily fit a defense platform in that space.
Recommendations:
- Let us utilize this empty space with already existing structures
- Add a couple more levels of upgrades to our portals that will fill this space with additional refittable features like additional weapons, armor and specials slots
- Create new support structures with all NEW features that can ONLY be added onto the portals in this dead space

i agree that the space should be usable

If anything it is more likely that the graphic will be expanded to fill that space and still leave it unusable.

That's a lot of wasted space for graphics. Why just simply expand the graphic when the space has potential? You could easily do upgrades to the portals that would allow for usage of the space.

The graphic may not match the space being claimed, but the footprint is the intended size, and that has been the response from Kixeye every time it has come up.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like the mismatch either and the request for a change has been made numerous times, and it is a valid thing to request. I just expect the change to be bulking up the graphic so it accurately represents the space being claimed instead of the footprint shrinking.

A Ron'o'kebab on the left side and a cyber whales&chips on the right ?
If spot is taken, gfx only will make it look better
