Back after 4 years away, but have not got fleets

Hi all   i  came back in game after 4 years away and got  many full fleets.. I told a  friend that he  would get that  . So he  came  back  also after 4 years away   and he got  nothing at all...    What have  he  done wrong  , does anyone  have  a answer that can help  us   .. He is  lvl 107  and  i am  lvl 107 and  we both had played around 3 years  before we left .

    the free fleet giveaways were part of a re engagement package given out to "some" players not all. its not that your friend has done anything wrong you were just the lucky one, however there is the beginners tlc that can be done with a gunboat has free fleets in and some base tech. a free praet fleet which can do the 135s in fm and then gain the starter fleets to do the other campaigns for some catch up tech.

    Ok   so i was  just  lucky...   Now  he is sitting in the game , I  persuaded  him  to come in ,  and he got nothing.   So  the  3 years he played , used hundreds and hundreds of dollars doesnt count at all,  only   thing  he got out of that  is totally  useless fleets. He  received mails telling that  he had got that and that fleet   and  when he suddenly see more and  more of old friends are playing he decide to start again.  They  have  their nice fleets they all got for free as gifts   and he got  nothing  except a long nose  and a  dummy hat. Kix  should  never have send out those messages  ofering free fleets then, I call that  false marketing, and i see it strange that all i  have  asked in the game ( and that is many)  have all got those fleets. we have  tested  all  his fleet and  only thing he can do is killing cargos,  this  cant be right.  Kixeye  want more players, but they  will surely not get it that way and i now know what he and I will answer on  next  survey and trustpilot....   SORRY  i  just  had  to let this steam out ,  and   is not meant as an attack on  a single person,  but their way to get  old players back....   Simple  word is  CHEAT.

    Del...   i  quietly  forgot  ...    ..  you say there is a  beginners  TLC  kit!     WHERE do he find that ???? as its not in campaigns.! we have tried all other campaigns , prepping them  for him  but  those old fleets  cant do a  damd thing  even  there is  only  ½ turret left...

    Edster.   its  ok .   he   will probably not  return to game then  as there is not much fun in game  getting  cargos and res to something you  cant build.    So i dont see any  chances of many of the old who gave up will return to game  :-(  it is a   shame  as it looks like the  game is on the  way  back  to be  the  same fun as it was in the  old days.   And i am sure   he  will not use $ 50 to buy gold to get an answer on a  ticket.  I  just feel sad i got  him  convinced that the game was fun again.  Anyway thank you for your answers :-)
