I can't access my settings to make sure my email is "correct" all it does is show up as a blank screen.

You should be able to update your email, or verify it if you haven't already through your profile settings.
To get to your profile, click your username in the top right corner.
Click the "edit" button under your avatar towards the top left. A security check window will pop up asking you to verify your account login.
After getting through the pop up, you should be able to hit the edit button on the account setting you want to update.
If you have gone through all of that and still cannot check your email, you will need to submit a support ticket.
