attacking an opponent surrounding my base

opponent has surrounded my base and when i go attack them their platoon isn't there. then i get my platoon  defeated . what do i do? am i being cheated on?

    They are prob using Cloak, which hides enemy units until ur close to them. You should use trackers they reveal enemy units

    I just had a similar experience, except this time it was toons surrounding an enemy base. They disappeared and then I couldn't approach the base, or attack whatever was in the spaces around the base. I haven't seen this before; any tips/explanation?

    If not cloaked units ( detonators with camouflage tech (dogs are good here) ) cold be poor wifi...this usually happens me just before i need to refresh everything.

    This is just lagg. It has happened a billion times in this game in the last 9 years. Hopefully The new html5 will not have any of this. this last 24 hours of warpath the game was ll messed up. I had all my honor 20k and infamy 10 k reset to 0 and kix has no answer for me!
