You'll need 10 for U1, 30 for U2, 80 for U3 and 80 for X1-- raid or pillage. I wouldn't suggest buying any ships for the offers Kix isn't that great at building useful ships with the best specials/weapons etc.
I just won a Mutineer upgrade kit. Why am i not seeing it?
It isn't displayed anywhere in your base, you can only see it when you actually click "refit" on your ships.
