1) Slowly build up your base, do the Campaigns and upgrade everything you can which will gradually give you access to the ships you need. Then build the ships, rank them and upgrade them which takes forever. But while you are doing that, you get XP which makes you feel better and calms you down whilst you are waitng for things to finish. Or........
2) Give Kixeye serious amounts of real money.
I seem to have gone route 2 and I'm broke. However, after almost 9 years of playing, strangely enough, I still enjoy the game.
Get stuck in and learn the game and patience will eventally arrive.
Sooo, I have been hitting 906's with 116 and 114 in SET. I am getting the 250K for the 114/116 + the 500K bonus. When I hit the 906, I get the 250k bonus, but not the 1,000,000 it says i should. Why???

Little late now, but it is a wave based target. If you destroy all of the buildings and the original two Warbirds in the target, it ends. Most of the points are included in the waves of ships that spawn into the target. You have to kill all of the successive waves of enemy ships to get the full 1 million points.
