Crisis in base defense

I found that there will be a huge crisis in base defense later on when Ares is officially released. Ares boss base come out today and we all have a picture on Ares' performance. I would like to say it melts infantries...and quite a descent damage towards vehicles. Is there a powerful defensive boss gonna release afterwards to alleviate the stress on defensive sides? As current units play hard in defense...

    currently he is a marshmello ...... not sure what you are writing about, from what I see, the elite version is lack luster at best

    Yeah it seems like he deals heavy damage, But so do Adam and the Destroyer. Just like the guy above said, he seems lackluster at best.

    Base defense definitely needs a boost. It’s been well over a year since turrets got upgrades so current base defense is useless and needs units to be effective. Loading units in your base causes overlong repair time which is not compareable to 50% reduction time for pvp plats. Base defense is at huge disadvantage now.

    Yes he does , problem is if want to use it for base defense you lose Nick for air defense. Can't have both on ... :(

    Nick is not really needed anymore. Pegasus and Screamer do the job just fine, and if thats not enough turn on the Artemis Motel op. The 4 artemises from the op paired with screamer kill 25 aces in 4seconds

    Nick is not really needed anymore. Pegasus and Screamer do the job just fine, and if thats not enough turn on the Artemis Motel op. The 4 artemises from the op paired with screamer kill 25 aces in 4seconds
    Don't know if seraph and artemis can do well on shepherd and chopper or not. Previously, peg handles phantom and nick kills others (eg, shepherd, ace,etc). If we use mickey, then those anti-air men should take the place of nick. but i havent tried before if they work as best as nick.

    I dont have the issue at all between splitting the pegasus between defending against the phantom and other threats. Artemis is your ace counter, and if you are smart you dont show pegasus until the phantom comes out. Most people will send in their Chopper or Shepherd to bait the pegasus out and then use the L. Phantom. But if you dont show Pegasus when the chopper comes out, people will assume you dont have peg, send their phantom in, and it'll die to peg. After that feel free to bully any other air the enemy might send with your pegasus. and btw, Controllers in watchtowers shred the Chopper Company to dust. And the Shepherd is just plain useless if you have some high lvl hunter missile's

    As for your question, Artemis doesnt deal very well with uniques and high health single target units like the chopper and shepherd, but it still deals high damage to them, as both have less range than the Artemis and screamer keeps them away from them. Artemis is kind of your anti Ace Spam unit.
