went to target a fleet from a certain alliance and the only option it gave me was "post to chat" no attack option. Is this a glitch...a hack...or the ever troubling lag?
yes, my fleet was out and highlighted, and the enemy fleet was sitting still for a good 5-6 seconds i clicked multiple times thinking it was just me....same thing every time. I also had several other alliance members trying to click his fleet and couldnt get the attack option.
I DO get this occasionally. It sometimes even happens when trying to load cargo. My fleet is selected and it has plenty of room. It doesn't happen often enough to say one way or the other that it is a glitch, but since it happens even collecting cargo I would say it probably isn't a hack. On the other hand, there are so many hacks out there for tiny things, keep checking with people. Good Luck.
REPORT IT~ NOT LIKE ANYTHING WILL HAPPEN< but its worth a try. I have ran into several issues with base and fleets that it woudl not let you attack. Or if it did, you would lose control of ur fleet as if they were driving them. Right into a cerb or whatever. But i would report it. We need to stop all the hacks, maybe then the game might run smoother. who knows. lol. Pirate ON!
Ive had it where a base wont let me attack. I use the attack option but nothing happens. I try again and my fleet has jumped some distance away and takes time to get back to the base. By which time of course sector police are all over you. Pain in the arse!

Tell you what, you auto my base, and I wont control my defenders.
Then make one and play, if you are asking for an account form someone that is against the TOS and a bannable offense. Please refrain form doing so if that was your intention

hmmmm, I would report this to the thread about game play issues happening today. I would also send a ticket in to the support team, as well.
Reason why I asked about having a fleet out was because, 50% of the time the player doesn't have a fleet out when he tries to.
