    I had the same turnout not too long ago. I fixed it by looking at my base planer. The problem was that two walls were stacked on each other. Don't ask me how, but they were

    I have two walls that overlap, I can move them but it won't save the changes. I even completely made a new base layout and it keeps going back to the original one!

    That's right! Now I remember that it also did that to me. You have to manually move the wall; Don't use the base planer.
