An Idea for the next garrison Hull: Neptune II

I realize kixeye has probably already started programing this years Garrison Hull but I felt like sharing this anyways.

I was looking through all the Garrison Hulls we have had and found that we haven't had a Missile based Garrison hull since the Hellstar T99 and the Neptune T4.25.

Monolith Citadel and Berserker were all Mortar based
I Dragon, Ice Breaker and Pretorian were all Rocket based

To try something new I suggest a Missile based hull    (could be UAV too, but my idea works better with missiles)

Neptune II
Neptune II is a generic name that I am using, Feel free to change the suffix as I can't just use Neptune as that is already a hull in the game
It seems standard that all current ships come with 6 special slots and Upgrades (X1)
Weapon slots and armor slots very and some ships come with Heavy weapons or Tactile instillations
All Hulls are Given Standard Armors for each Tier so I will not talk about armors

Weapon ideas for Neptune II

Diamond storm Missile (possibly a splash missile with MIRV), because it rains diamonds on Neptune

Trident Missile II (would be like the original Trident missile with secondary countermeasures and possibly an added muti-shot on weapon and countermeasure)

the god Neptune wields a trident so multi shot should be three

Lunar UAV:
Neptune has 14 Moons = 14 total weapon slots

Triton heavy weapon UAV:
(has a retrograde orbit) could be depicted similarly to Ceades UAVs that orbit the T99 ship

Speacial ideas

list of previous specials of possible use:  Rapid Roller bearings, High speed missile jets, Lethal strike Warheads

New Specials

Neptune has strong Winds, Magnetosphere, rings, and Moons (triton specifically) (some other moons orbit between rings)

Countermeasure System
: could have a name based off a Planet's Magnetic Field (could have a generic effect)
Battery: there is no previous T8 Battery that would be compatible with this hull so a new one must come out for this hull
Engine: Wind based engine as Neptune has strongest winds of any planet (but its orbit is slow)
   165 earth years = Neptune's year (slow combat/map speed)
16 hours = Neptune's day            (high turn speed)

Tactile module ideas / name ideas

the Planet has 5 rings (same number of ships in a fleet): Galle, Le Verrier, Lassell, Arago and Adams
each ship could have a different field effect named after the five rings of Neptune
If each Tactical instillation was limited to 1 then Players might have to spend time gathering each of the five in different FM targets...

If players were given choices between five tactile installations it would give lots of variations in designs from different pirates, also adding longevity to the hull as usually there is only one garrison fleet released each year.

Special abilities

Neptune has an appearing and disappearing storm known as the Great Dark Spot
Say that at a random time Neptune II's Great dark spot appears and allows Neptune II to deal much more damage (via increase reload)

I am sharing these ideas  in hope that Kixeye might use some of them in the Battle Pirates Game

    Nice idea...
Reload buff during Great Dark Spot activation won't break the 0.2 second max reload, maybe a damage buff instead, say 200% extra?

One thing may be an issue are the CM turrets in FM targets?

Still, creativity never hurts. Just be careful of what you wish for.

Remember the idea is for Missiles not rockets thus will likely not near the .2 second max reload (NemesisX and Pegasus didn't come close to that)
Peg, NemX, and original Neptune had base reload of 100%. Trident missiles have 4 reload (longer for T5-T8.5 assault missiles).
With Rank the max total reload possible is 400% after 75% rank bonus (with current specials we can only get just over half that)
The reason I chose a reload buff is, because The Great Dark Spot is a storm with high wind speed

With the new High speed missile jets projectile speed and the possibility of Flak evade, countermeasures are weak (see Pegasus)
You could also say that great dark spot boost projectile speed making missiles more effective against CM turrets

Also remember that regardless of the hull the targets will always be built to match the fleet used.

    Thanks for Responding!
