I play VEGA for years, I enjoy the PVP battles and + good friends and teammates I made there...
When japanese guys do an anime or artwork, they tend to grab something random and (usually) turn into something very different that looks cool. Many people around the world follow it and I did as well.
In Kantai Collection, they went and grabbed some real life ships, turning them into girls... so after a while, I had the idea of doing the same with a hull in VEGA: I've chosen Dominion (if I say it's NOT my favorite ship in the game... I'm being a liar). Also, it still has a lot of potential to fight in T6 PVP battles despite the Paladin and it's drones being so powerful.


With the help with a friend who has been improving on their art, it came true and the result is actually looking amazing.


I introduce you the spaceshipgirl Dominion Carrier and her loyal Ranger Swarms!





What I had in mind was to give her the looks of a succubus, as it is about a Demon Corps thing. A pair of horns, a long tail and the large wings on her back that also launch the squadrons, and she carries the DC symbol on her chest. She is redhead because it's the main color of the faction, and in my opinion: the black color on her uniform fits perfectly.




A Chibi... my friend let me have the wings and horns as they've drawed it quickly (and grabbed DC symbol to put on chest).

My friend also suggested a backstory and personality for her, so I made one based on game's storyline, some characteristics of the Demon Corps and some phrases heard in monthly events that had DC as enemies (such as the ones that have "blood" in the sentence), all spoken by Dominion herself:


1- My name is Dominion. I am a Carrier, and the greatest pride of the Demon Corps. Uncompromising in my brutal authority, I am built to establish control and dominance. My purpose and ONLY purpose is to see my enemies burn! Anyone who opposes my power will have the stars painted with their blood!

2- So, this is how the rebellion fights, huh? Now I see the reason why you've been facing VEGA for so long and still stand in their way... even after you rebels fight each other fiercely everyday. Fufu... I guess being under your command might be funnier than being controlled by those worthless, corrupt VEGA idiots. All they know is to lose their battles and get their technologies stolen. I am sick of that!

3- Command me well, sir. And I shall take you to the conquest of this void. It will be an honor to fight alongside the bravely of the rebellion; but remember: I take no prisioners, I am merciless, I am bent on absolute annihilation. If you betray me, my devastating power is going to be the last thing you will ever see!

4- Since the day I joined the rebellion, I have felt the heat of war much more than before. This was my greatest decision, beyond my own expectations. I never thought that being with the rebels would make me enjoy the only reason of my existance so much.

5- Actually, I am happy that VEGA now sees me as a traitor, they will eventually come and try to kill me. But I was born in blood and I will make them drown in theirs if they dare to oppose me.

6- These horns and tail, you ask? they are... mine... along with my mighty hangar wings, they make me the demon I was created to be. Well, I am a Demon Corps soldier, right? It makes sense, doesn't it?

7- Sometimes I miss General Geir, he was the only man worth following in the middle of such bunch of corrupt idiots. I heard that he is involved with something... "Geno" or "Xeno"... what is that?


TLDR - 1: introducing herself. 2: knowing the rebels and abandoning VEGA. 3: she's now in a rebel commander's fleet. 4: a while after she's with the rebels. 5: she wants to destroy VEGA fleets. 6: she's being friendly with her curious ally. 7- she really didn't like being with VEGA, but she respects Geir.

Maybe she didn't had much do add like Dominion, but there are the Wormhole Drive on her back, the Federation symbol on shoulder and the word "VEGA" on boots because there was no good place to put it other than there.

If my friend and I continue drawing more ships like this, then I'll certainly give a backstory for all of them. This one isn't as creepy as Dominion's (and it shouldn't be due to not being Demon Corps) but I tried my best.


1- I am Javelin. My job is transportation, I can take friendly fleets to the other side of the void in seconds! However, I am unable to defend myself alone, so I need my friends close to travel with them safely.

2- This is the Wormhole Drive. Having such incredible technology, I can jump across a sector, bringing my escorts with me to ambush our enemies and take them by surprise. They will not see us coming, heh heh! But hey this is a very delicate device, I need to avoid combat in order to keep it operating, or else I'll get webs on my body for waiting a so long repair.

3- I was with VEGA until I jumped away, like very very far away from them. And when I did, I just felt like I was freed from that stupid federation. If I ever go back there, I will do it as enemy; that's why I want to be by your side from now on, rebel.

4- So, Will you accept a ship like me in your fleet? I'm not very useful in combat, thus I'm going to need some friends around to make sure I take as many as I can across everywhere! You will? Thank you, heh heh! Let's travel and see the galaxy together, shall we?

5- Hmm? My... Wormhole Drive's weight? it feels almost like nothing. Why are you so surprised? We're made with great physical strength to have no issues when walking with our equipement! By the way, they are not detachable and it HURTS when they are hit, then let's be careful about this, okay?

6- After so many jumps, after putting my precious tech to use so much to attack VEGA by surprise, I just got Bertram in my mind for a while. That guy was so stupid, I don't have much memory of him as I was still being built when he was around, but I do remember that he was horrible at strategy and had the mental age of a child... like a big. angry. child. Hahahahahahahahaha!

7- I don't need to be upgraded, okay? I'm not made for combat, I'm made to travel long distances with my escorts. You don't have to waste time giving me weapons or anything besides a little improvement on my Wormhole Drive. And for the Stars' sake, don't think of making me wear armors because if I get attacked, I'll die of boredom before my device finishes repairing.


TLDR - 1: Introduction. 2: Talking about the Wormhole device and complaining about it's repair time. 3: abandoned VEGA and wishes to be a rebel. 4: Accepted in the rebellion with a happy reaction. 5: Talks briefely about the ships in general, but maybe she's lying about half of the info. 6: Mocking Bertram Rumbelow. 7: A little advice about refitting and another complaint about her long repair time.

Despite not having any built yet, I decided to do this one (yes, all fully by myself like Alien Harvester) anyway.


Behold the almighty altairian Bastion Cruiser Shipgirl!



I'd have gold color priorized if I bothered with mark ups, but I don't! Of course the hair must be blue. Golden eyes fit nicely too. Altairian symbol as hair ornament was indeed a nice idea (thanks GameHat). Behind her arms and head, there is those 3 things in the ship's fron't but I don't even know if those have a name; also, what appears to be a cyan glowing core is present between them. I ended up making the two things on ship's backside look sharper on her back. The symbol for cruiser parts in crafting is a shield, it's golden and black for this ship and it's right there below the belly! The Epsilon Echo Cannon is there but different: I've removed the "turret" piece of it and turned it into a gun's grip so it can be held by human hands. Last but not least: Being a cruiser which the main role is to tank, her outfit is a very pretty armor, isn't it?

Before I forget... Look at those chubby cheeks! While i was doing this artwork, someone poked me with that little detail but I decided to keep it that way because it looks freaking cute a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶l̶m̶o̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶q̶u̶e̶e̶z̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶r̶ !



From all 4 chibis I made so far, this one was the hardest because, well... it's an armored chibi!


Due to the ship's recent release, I don't think I have much of a backstory but... (here goes nothing)


1- Greetings, my name is Bastion. I am part of the Altairian's advanced technologies. I was designed to increase the vitality of a fleet by stopping weapons from ricochetting on everybody. I also have a hidden ability that you humans have never seen before, but I'm sure you will see and understand where the Altairian's true strength comes from.

2- By the looks of it, you rebels were unaware of our presence in the void, weren't you? I see. Was it because you were too busy fighting those green things? "Aliens of Colony 47"? That does sound like trouble to me, though watching how you rebels fought them so bravely makes me think it was one of the reasons that made Klavic have such a friendly interaction with you.

3- Ah yes, Klavic... I was designated by him to join you, fight alongside you and help you fly towards the path of enlightenment through the word of his father On-Wah. With an exchange: Please, assist in Klavic's quest to stop his rouge sister Ny'tah, whose wants to erase the teachings of On-wah from the void forever.

4- What hidden ability do I have? It's called Firestorm Overdrive, Let me show you in battle. ... ... uh, those were too weak. It was just booooring!! ... Now we're talking. ... ... *whispering* Shields almost down. ... ... Rrrraaaahhh!!! Witness my true power!!! ... ... Hey commander, I am majestic, as well as my power, Right? Are you okay?

5- You're lucky for having those nice girls on your fleet, I'm glad to have just joined them. Can I go there and socialize a bit? I just didn't introduce myself to them yet, heheh. I'm gonna see the cutters first. Uh? Why are you running? Oh... kay, I'll try the frigates. Hi ther... Wait, no! Don't run! Maybe the other cruisers... You've got to be kidding me! Commander, why is this happening?

6- They're... afraid of my Overdrive power?! Maybe I should give them some time to approach me properly, right? But that redhead over there... that one who looks like a demon... she was kind to me and said I was not the first ship to be initially feared by the rest of this armada.

7- Commander, I was designated to be with the rebellion permanently. This means that even if Klavic is, perhaps with hostile intentions, I am going to stay here and fight alongside you forever. Coming here was the best thing I've ever done, I will protect you and this lovely fleet of yours. You have my word. Uh??? Are you even listening? Hey stop staring at my cheeks, it's embarrassing!


1: Introducion. 2: knowing the rebels' current situation. 3: Joining the rebellion because of Klavic's request. 4: Showing what she's capable of. 5: Everyone is running away from her when she tries to introduce herself to the fleet. 6: And finds out that it's because everyone fears her strength, except *You know who*. 7: Swearing eternal loyalty to the rebels w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶b̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶e̶x̶t̶ ̶e̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶.

Update: (Sorry, no new shipgirl. Reason: I barely played the game for quite a while) Some needed changes on Bastion:

Removed the gear behind her arms and head for two reasons: they point forward and come out from the ship's front part, which was unlikely for her to have it like that + because i couldn't think of a possible way that they could be attached to the armor's back.
Fixed pointy chin.
Drastic change on hair. A better asymmetrical haircut on face and a more volumous and flowing ponytail.
Minor change for armor on neck and hips.
The objects on her back are no longer sharp and now point up instead of down.
Fixed legs size.
Change on boots, now they look slightly more like part of the armor set.

I... just felt like doing yandere trance on Harvester...

I find this better than the art you first did for the harv, I think you should try the zeal or hellfire in this style
