[Events] In the FM, the 137 target’s structure resist specials were not working as intended. They are now working, so ships with damage other than explosive and penetrative will now do less damage. As this only impacts non-Garrison damage types, it should not affect the performance of Praetorians in any way.
So a change has been made.....
will it or will it not affect the Prae's?? You should be testing this now to ENSURE that THERE IS NO affect to the Prae's.... or if we the players do the QA testing for you - PAY US!!!!!!!!
Sorry I didn't see your message until after I responded to a couple qs above. Honestly, there is no easy answer on these questions. I'm chatting with the team about approach, but the short answer is that it depends on the build + armor + target.
CM_Ghillie or CM Chris Please can we have an update on the topic of "zynth armours not working". Ive made several refits to Praets. The last refits were based on other players having better results and I did see some improvements but now half my weapon slots are filled with coutermeasures. Not too bad in the 131 but sitting for 20 seconds at 1 turret in a 137 barely scratching it wasnt fun. Im not sure what fm targets will be on the map now? If the 137 is the new "go to" then it looks like more refits will be required so it would be nice to know whats going on with the armours. They either arent working at all, or arent having the benefit the stats imply or the benefit that I and many other players think they should.
Short version, I add 1 Z1X and improve my explosive survival from 10k-15k (50 % improvement). Battle Report shows 50/50 split exp and pen. Damage decreases by 3 minutes (2 % improvement) something clearly not right with that.
[Events] A turret on the 137 in the Forsaken Mission has been moved by 1 grid space to improve AI pathing
I am going to 2nd this update on the Isotope armor issue. I received a vague reply from Ghillie that said she wasnt given the complex reason why they don't work. Well, logic tells me that this answer was the teams "cop out" on actually answering this question. There literally is NO LOGICAL REASON as to why these armors fail so badly on the Praetorian. As you customers, why do you feel we don't deserve an answer?. Additionally on the new TLC's you FINALLY have a way for us to earn Subjugator tokens, but only 3 1/2? On a 10 day upgrade? Yet on the Lurker TLC we can earn 8 or so? While we appreciate you finally allowing us to earn these tokens, can you please reconsider the total number we can earn? Most people have 3 or more Subjugators, why not increase the total we can earn by a few?
Tomorrow we find out if we continue to play this game. When the FM becomes un-manageable I and many others will likely throw in the towel. This time (not that you or anyone cares) I won't return.

Players are auto`ing the 137?
And havin just seen the new folded ferrite armours.....
1 piece of ZX1+ 1 piece of ZM1 gives 5k pen and exp survival increase respectively for a total of 50ml FM points. 1 piece of F2XM costs 70ml FM points and only gives 2k pen and exp survival. Thats either a typo or someone at KIX HQ is soon to be declared insane.
Maybe the equip time is 5 minutes? There must be some hidden benefit behind the stats that arent showing. Maybe someone thinks the extra 50k armour on a hull with 50ml armour is going to make some sort of magic happen?
Kix I know you do not care and I know you will not respond because you start these threads and never respond to our concerns

I mean 70 million points There is no way that any of you actually play the game no way you can. I know a lot have already posted it but you do not realize how many people are fixing to throw in the towel and quit playing your game. This is BEYOND ridiculous.
Clearly no concept of what the players want. To make it clear we don't want chores and we don't want an event (or two) per week. Sort out your over inflated prize points, your over inflated builds and either provide an upgrade yard/lab or drop ugrades. Oh and reduce the size of and time taken to do your targets. You are not providing enough quality gaming experience to warrant 7 + mins in a target they are dull and you need to do too many
Oh goody, yet another massively over priced item in the FM. Unlimited or not, I don't care. The time you are asking of the player base for every aspect of the game now is absurd.

It not about what player wants, it about what management/shareholder wants. It always been that way.
Prize are overinflated so it take more target to get them and target are longer so it leave less time to repair or do them, forcing you to coin repairs or blitz. Build time are over inflated so they cost more to build for those who coin them, and also it intended so you have to coin some of it.
Basicly, what management/shareholder wants is money and they never hid it, it in the presentation Stillfront did when they bought kixeye. They said clearly that they saw many areas in BP they could monetize fully; guess what they have done it. They want there 90 mil back ASAP.
Your not happy about it, do like SSQUID and so many others have done, scrap your base and leave. Cause guess what, they don't care. CM Chris banning basicly every disgruntled player one by one without warning should be a pretty clear sign, they want whales coiners, rest can go, period.
Once again, whats the point of having these threads when you never respond to complaints/feedback from players? Formality?
These threads, and the forums at large, are primarily for players to have discussions with one another about what's happening in the game. It's not a space where you're guaranteed interaction or response from the game team.
CMs and mods are here to facilitate a constructive arena in which players can have those conversations, they're not here to contribute to every thread or provide justification for every choice wherever it is asked. Additionally, it's better for us to stay out of most conversations and let them develop organically, because it gives better insight than if I/we hop into every conversation and curb your opinions with justification and reasoning.
Aggregated feedback, sentiment, and concerns are all passed along in regular community reports. So just because we aren't chatty doesn't mean we aren't paying attention.
Wait a sec, what benefit does the folded armors have when compared to the isotope armors? Arent isotope armors still much superior?
Yeah, I thought at first would be good to refit last cycle fleets, but then noticed it is more weight then the isotope. SO no point to get them. Praetorians are overweight with only 2 each Isotope. TOO Heavy to be useful

Oh players are discussing about the game alright; on how bad its become that is.
Also what exactly do you do with the "better insight" because I along with several other players dont see any visible changes?
Nobody is asking you to be chatty, they are asking you to be responsive. A simple "Noted and will pass-on to the team" will be enough.
Ok, so here's where Im confused. Why are the costs for the new armors so atronomically high when they are literal garbage compared to the limited 25 mil armors that give 5k each.
Community Feedback: Players are dishearted by the lack of understanding we show towards our own game we've created and dislike the amount of points they are required to earn in the many events we release each week.
Dev Team Response: We should give them more things that cost more and take more time to complete for less points and more damage!
Surely you can see a problem with this course of action CM Chris?

No, actually he isn't smart enough to understand that, as with most of the ones that develop this game. They are showing their intense greed and hoping enough people will coin the chit out of game to keep them earning money they really don't deserve to earn, such as how many coding problems and glitches their 3rd grade programmers write.

From the very beginning of Battle Pirates we have been able to pose questions to the community team (meaning the CM) and get a reasonably timed answer! Indeed with the introduction of C.M. Ghillie we were led to believe that this practice was going to continue as was stated in the first of the posts made in which was said:
AHOY PIRATES,
We’re trying something new to make it even easier to hear from you on the forums. As of today, there will be a weekly Q&A/Discussion post where you are welcome and encouraged to share your questions, ideas, and feedback about Battle Pirates that week. This, more than any other post on the forums, is your primary vehicle for discussion directly with the community team.
We will be removing the weekly release notes discussion and all other event-related discussion posts to keep everything in one centralized place. This will help us to better capture and consider your feedback on a week-to-week basis. It will also create a less cluttered forum-reading experience.
If you have any questions, please post them below. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
CM Ghillie
If we are now to expect no response from the "game team" you can expect little or no response from my credit card as it is apparent that "the game team" has no respect for the players and we are left to only discuss the wrong doing by "the game team" amongst ourselves. The exorbitant price of the new armors may be the straw that breaks the camels back for many players after the bait and switch tactics over the past few months in regards to blueprint stats changing. I personally have reached the end of my rope and there isn't any knot to keep me from falling off!
New folded F2 XM only have 2000 of each of the two surviveabilities compared to the only 1 surviveability of 5000 on each isotope.
But they have 500,000 health more than the isotopes at 200,000 health compared to 150,000 of the isotopes.
So on a 6 armor slot ship like a praetorian
3 of each isotope at 5000 surviveability and 150,000 health
15000 x and 15000 m surviveability
And 6 x 150,000 health = 900,000 health
Or 6 x new folded F2 xm
6 x 2000 surviveability and 6 x 200,000 health
12000 of each surviveability and 1,200,000 health
Not sure whats best here. Personal preference i suppose...
do you want more health or more surviveability?
Another thing to consider is weight. 1000t (isotope) vs 1250t (F2)
That extra 300k HP that you get from F2s is quite irrelevant up in the higher targets.
Also just 1xF2 available in each cycle tells you how irrelevant it is contrary to its 70mil cost.
If you upgrade your praetorians to U1 it automatically adds 2.2 million health/armor, which is way more than the bonus from the new folded F2-XM armors. You can keep your isotope armors and just upgrade to U1, no need to refit armors or do a mix and match and watch your penetrative/explosive survival stats drop if you use the F2-XM armor.

Mastery is 5 runs.. 5 x 1/2 is 2 and a half on top of the 3 x 1 days from the 1st 3 packs.
Total is NOT 2 and a 1/2 days like you said.
Its 5 and a 1/2 days of supressor upgrade tokens.

2nd option is the only one that will get the company's attention but would be too late for any meaningful reaction
