**Slight
adjustment to the recent targeting update (to clarify):
All weapons will continue to target the closest hull. However if
multiple ships occupy the same space, the first ship to arrive will
continue to be targeted.
This change went out in the 9.44 Update, apologies for the late notice.

damage has increased getting only 5 x 131s now instead of 7 or 8 131s. funny isn't it how an update not meantioned is suddenly meantioned after the fact because people complained about a bug.. which is actually a new thing as intended.
well if i try a 137 and i get more than 6 hrs of damage that will prove the damage has been increased.
by the way same pathing same hugging the mountains and same crew.

just go back to the 120's.. free repair and kix gets nothing
If you are going to pitch an event as a "fun" event... you might want to include some actual fun. Targets are beyond boring, damage is way too much for way too little, and the "new" armor does not appear to make much (if any) difference. As many have stated, the dutchman ships are exploiting an issue where they can drive off the visible map. Another fail from Kixeye, *sigh*.
What is up with chasing that glowing green bastard off the screen and then you're just at the mercy of his guns and you don't even know for sure if you're hitting dutchy. This is just STUPID! You just fire on the [email protected] until he dies all the while taking guaranteed forced damage. You have to "drive" the POS away from the edges or he runs into the green mist or off the map completely. What in the literal [email protected] is that all about stillkix? Fix this S h ! T!

My Big Green FCKR drove around the outside of the screen and then got stuck and i couldnt get to it. That was the one i needed to kill in the level 14, Had to fight off 3 more big ones and their little buddies before i could kill it. FIX YOUR **** GAME
My biggest complaint about this Flying Dutchman event: RANDOM PRIZES This game is too costly (in more than just $$) for Kixeye to do Random prizes in these chests.
Enemy ships getting hung up, and not pathing as they were in earlier prize packs.
i noticed that also. also, either the damage increased or the survivability of the npc ships was increased because previously, in the first 4 mastery rounds, i was able to get my u3 sats + flag halfway into encounter #7 before they died. today on the final round, they only got halfway into encounter #6 and died.
luckily, i have the free saturn fleet kix gave us as back-up, but today it nearly died trying to complete half of encounter 6 and all of encounter 7, where before the same fleet only took a couple hours damage finishing up half of encounter #7. and, as you say, the pathing was completely different from all previous runs of the same campaign.
i was able to complete the campaign, but there was definitely a huge difference between today and the rest of the week before it.
If greedy kix sees you're suceeding without coining, they will change rules no matter if game is ongoing...
do you need the suppressor for these targets? If so, what are you using it for? Do you hit the dutchman with it? I'm seeing most ppl use just a silverfish fleet in 10's and 14's.
They told you to use suppressor so that you can take damage and coin repair...
Ok, CM Ghillie, so from everything you have read in this thread... the one thing you gleaned is that we, the players, wanted the limit of chests increased to 200? Not an inkling of anything else?....anything???
Kixeye are listening to the players and value their feedback?
Classic example of how well the company, and it's employees, take notice of anything, at all, we players have to say.
The only trick I see here , is to treat the player base like complete morons.
(First prize, a Rock Ring Saturn - that's a candy wrapped trick for me)
