If fleet damage after completion of the top target with the give away BatRay fleet exceeds 4.5 minutes then the Halloween event is not even worth the seat time.
You are entitled to your opinion just not entitled to give it
If fleet damage after completion of the top target with the give away BatRay fleet exceeds more the 4.5 minutes then the Halloween event is not even worth the seat time.
I got a feeling they missed the memo that this is supposed to be a "fun" event, and not a "lets see how much damage we can inflict on them before they all go postal" event.
In the Flying Dutchman event, when you pick a chest, is it possible to receive a blueprint already owned (not asking about limited items)?
Same question. I sure hope we dont get already owned Blueprints. But a bigger concern to me is receiving stuff you dont need. For example I dont need Steelplate silverfish upgrade tokens or kits. If those come out of a chest, its a wasted chest.
Maybe it's just me (I know it's not) but it seems that the gameplay and game damage mechanics have now changed. WTF. 2 examples and a viewpoint. Don't know how many others feel this way and I just need to call it out as I see it. Anyone else feel the same?
1. They seem to have "fixed" the 5th hull from taking excessive damage in FM targets but now the Prae flag now takes all the damage. WTF. Seriously .. WTF. With the FM redemptions now requiring a gazillion points and a 7 day grind on 131s, not only are they removing the 131s but they're also changing the damage profile. What kind of f*ckery is this? Playing around with FM hich is a staple is sure to get response from community but, dare I say it, WTF 2. In the Son of Poseidon TLC, the behaviour of chasing boats has changed. Not only do they not cycle through their move cycles (e.g. ghostcrawler) and freeze in place but they also get "stuck" which makes it take much more time to do each target. Getting them done in time is now much harder. WTF. players trying to finish these of are now at a disadvantage over those that did it early.
Also, ticket response is the least consumer friendly it has ever been. Unsympathetic & arrogant.
C'mon Stillfront, We don't want the rename of Kix BP to Stillborn BP.
Unsympathetic & arrogant. ....Fubar 17 ?...try better .."we don't give a chit about u ppl" answers on tickets..or "u are so stupid and u don't know which buttons to press after 6-8 yrs of playing bp" answer.
don't ya just love the way the playing community gets shafted no matter who owns the company
In my experience, its the way of all online games of this type.
Although this lot seem to be way ahead in the lets nail down the basterds league. Its all about the money for all games, its their livelihood, but the difference to other games, is the other games don't generally present them selves as a premium top of the tree game like this lot do. The sad thing is they really seem to believe that this micky mouse third rate game is a premium one lol.
Of course with the right management team BP could be right up there, but will never get there with this bunch of hacks running it.
What me cynical, no, never, maybe!!, well I have been playing kix games for over 3 years.
Remember its just a game, your life doesn't rely on you being the best.
Sectors visited :- Who cares, been to some killed some stuff moved on.
Hulls :- Yep got some and some have guns and stuff
Enemy ships getting hung up, and not pathing as they were in earlier prize packs.
also same bugs in daily tlc ...round 2 of reaver ..npc fleet stops moving i noticed
more bugs since update:
my preatorian flagship is crab walking... not in line with the other 4 hulls.. on world map, appearance looks to have changed also. slightly bigger size

To be fair, WrongTinker said he will break any rules to make the game more fun for us. In his books more fun for us = more damage for us, does not matter how he **** up the game mechanics. This bloke is a serious threat to this current game.
So glad this Dutchman event has nothing good for prizes in the list. Loot boxes worst idea yet, please for the love of the game avoid this crap like the plague. Please don't encourage this type of reward system.
At least few people (if any) need to actually play this event.
Loot boxes are a bad idea, especially given that many of the prizes on offer aren't earth shattering anyway.
Can't see it being too popular - large amount of points needed, and might only win tech/hulls that are of no use to the player. And as you'll only win ONE prize from each crate, that's a big gamble.
No chance of getting anywhere now. Most friends have left the game thanks to changes, and given the crazy chores now I'll doubtless join them.
FLYING DUTCHMAN crap prize list sorry, nothing there what im need. thx for save money. Pretorians without any armor have less damage (28min) then with armor (1h28min) at the 131s. that is a bad joke. same now with ZM-1 and ZX-1 at the 137s. and he realy said (it depends on the build + armor + target.)
(Amended for clarity) All weapons will continue to target the closest hull. However if multiple ships occupy the same space, the first ship to arrive will continue to be targeted.
This change went out in the 9.44 Update, apologies for the late notice.
Hellos CM_Ghillie, Grumble, The FM is not listed on the calendar. Is it possible to have the FM listed on the calendar every week the FM is going to run? It would save a bit of time answering if it is running every week. -Cuttlefish
Cycle 1 Begins: Wednesday, October 16th @ 3:00PM PDT Ends: Wednesday, October 23rd @ 12:00PM PDT
Cycle 2 Begins: Wednesday, October 23rd @ 3:00PM PDT Ends: Wednesday, October 30th @ 12:00PM PDT
Cycle 3 Begins: Wednesday, October 30th @ 3:00PM PDT Ends: Wednesday, November 6th @ 12:00PM PDT
Cycle 4 Begins: Wednesday, November 6th @ 3:00PM PDT Ends: Wednesday, November 13th @ 12:00PM PDT
listed in the October fm briefing
Yes, I am aware of that. However, the key part : "The FM is not listed on the calendar" The FM was listed on the last couple of calendars. Now the calendar is published once a week, and is shared around to many pages, (good information dispersal). The briefing with this list of FM dates is done monthly (good information but, decaying dispersal). Every week where the FM is not listed on calendar, I see a slew of people asking if there is an FM that week. Simply inserting in one sentence into the calendar would remove some players confusion. -Cuttlefish
another thing that was missing was how much time is left to complete campaigns when you open up the campaign summary.
just a matter of convenience, but it's just a bit annoying to have to stop playing, open a browser, wait for kix forum page to load, then try to find the appropriate post for the info you need when before it was just a matter of glancing at the campaign summary page in-game.
nothing world shattering, but as you say, simply inserting one line per campaign on the campaign summary pop-up would alleviate some players confusion.
Enemy ships getting hung up, and not pathing as they were in earlier prize packs.
i noticed that also. also, either the damage increased or the survivability of the npc ships was increased because previously, in the first 4 mastery rounds, i was able to get my u3 sats + flag halfway into encounter #7 before they died. today on the final round, they only got halfway into encounter #6 and died.
luckily, i have the free saturn fleet kix gave us as back-up, but today it nearly died trying to complete half of encounter 6 and all of encounter 7, where before the same fleet only took a couple hours damage finishing up half of encounter #7. and, as you say, the pathing was completely different from all previous runs of the same campaign.
i was able to complete the campaign, but there was definitely a huge difference between today and the rest of the week before it.
The number 5 ship was the one that use to get all the damage, now it is the flag....
Any heads up on that or what???
Thought communication was going to improve somewhat, guess you fooled again.
I noticed that tonight too, after the update. I don't know when the change happened, but it was an unannounced change.
as announced by the CM, it was part of the 9.44 update but not announced in the briefing. I guess Kix was sick of the player base complaining about the #5 hull getting the shaft and "fixed" it by returning to the flag getting it in the **** (this was originally why they changed it to the #5 as priority target in the first place). I guess they weren't making enough $$$ on repairs by us being able to swap the hulls in the fleet position so now it's back to the flag, so get out your wallets for any future events/TLC's. Fun times to be had I'm sure.
Accuracy weapons will now target the closest hull (hull 1/Flagship). Please note that this offers more control as pirates will be able to move the Flagship out of targeting range as needed, and the next closest hull will be targeted instead.
This change went out in the 9.44 Update, apologies for the late notice.
What a crock. P!ss poor communication seems to have returned to the modus operandi of the new, not better version of Kix. The only hull that can't be moved around in the fleet and effectively removes the ability to auto targets. As if it wasn't bad enough that the the abuse of the integral component of the game (FM) has been commercialised into a week-long grind or coin fest. Expect players to make their votes with their feet. This may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I for one will NOT be recommending this game to anyone. The opposite in fact

your praets without armor do a 131 for 28 min damage ???? you must be a master builder cause i saw top players of the game get around 40 min with a full build fleet.would like to see a vid or the build.
