Transferred from the previous [at least] 3 weeks discussions. Can we get some answers on the new armours and their effectiveness (or lack of) please. Further silence can only be viewed as suspicious.
Thank you for taking the time to post today Andrew Smith40. In regards to the armor's in question, they have been found to be working as intended. Happy Sailing and Stay Frosty.
There ya go mate, that's your answer. That's what they'll say.
Dont laugh Dreaded but I would actually take that. If it was checked and they are "w.a.i" then I can at least plan my builds and plan my time/coin/repairs around the weeks events. When you see mutiple threads being answered or at least acknowleded and then absolute silence on this, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
I dont expect the game to be perfect and if someone came forward and said look sorry we made a mistake and we need to bump the damage in the fm targets (or any targets) to bring them in line with the business needs, it would suck but at least you could move forward. At the moment I/we are in no mans land.

Same question here, are the new Isotope armors working? Because I see no change in repair times

No. Thanks for asking.
They provide zero benefit. And in my experience putting them on is detrimental because I could put BETTER, older armors on there that worked but I got sucked into the "Oh, no, they work goodly because they are new har har har!" nonsense.
this "new" assault camp for nems an sats DO we need to have them fully ranked and u3 so we can get thru the usual MASSIVE damage to get the kits to up grade them to u3............. and no this is not a mistake
Ghillie-since we are getting only silence from the Game Designers and Kixeye in general about the Isotope armors NOT WORKING on Praetorians at least, is there any chance you can get them to break their silence on this issue? This is a bit sad they refuse to address this issue. Many of us, including myself have wasted both Gold and Tokens to fit this armor to Praetorians only to find it does NOTHING-ZERO to help them and actually can RAISE REPAIR TIMES because we remove the D7, D6 armors to put them on. Why there is so much silence on issues is hard to understand, but seem to be typical.
So with the new FREE fleet a shortage of res is something of the past, you bring back a billion after attacking a base or two. Of course now no-one of the lower levels use their fleet, for one load can boost you several levels lmao.

What armors are you using on what targets? What do your builds look like? Apologies for the delay, I've been away the last couple weeks. Different Garrison targets are more focussed toward penetrative or explosive damage, so pairing armors with the target type plus the correct CMs will help lower damage. Fully acknowledge that there is no perfect solution, though, as some of the targets make it a bit complicated.

Comments from thebra1n, michaelg21john.dean.1291421 (I hope they dont mind me quoiting them) are partcularly relevant and should provide a reasonable starting point. This isnt about me or my build or a specific build its a concensus from a large portion of players across multiple builds, Im noticing it most with the fm targets for the record . Thank you for acknowleding. Its appreciated.

Sorry I didn't see your message until after I responded to a couple qs above. Honestly, there is no easy answer on these questions. I'm chatting with the team about approach, but the short answer is that it depends on the build + armor + target.
1 specific example. The same fleet driving a 131 fm target in the same way twice. The second time I put on 1 piece of zx1 on 1 ship which improves that specific ships explosive survival from ~10k - 15k (+50%) and at best that specific ship might have 1 or 2 minutes less damage ~2%. The battle report shows me the same thing twice. I took roughly half explosive and half penetrative damage. Allowing for some variance in each target for RNG Im not seeing the benefits these armours are claiming to have.
what fleets do we need for the flying dutchmen??????????????????????
Batray/Razortail or Silverfish/Suppressor.
Hey guys, I know every event is different, however, last flying dutchman event, the ghost ships fired cannon balls that had MASSIVE splash damage - only the guys that had hyper 30s on their boats had any chance of doing well.

listed in the October fm briefing
Yes, I am aware of that. However, the key part : "The FM is not listed on the calendar" The FM was listed on the last couple of calendars. Now the calendar is published once a week, and is shared around to many pages, (good information dispersal). The briefing with this list of FM dates is done monthly (good information but, decaying dispersal). Every week where the FM is not listed on calendar, I see a slew of people asking if there is an FM that week. Simply inserting in one sentence into the calendar would remove some players confusion. -Cuttlefish

the problem is not our builds its the armours don't work. Players that have ADDED MORE of the ZM-1 and ZX-1 armours to their preatorians have had no reduction in the damage they take in the targets. Even hulls that had no armours to begin with, when they then added the ZM-1 and ZX-1 to their unarmoured hulls the damage has not gone down.

Doesnt make a difference who the CM is, typical Kixeye response......seriously?......smh

The number 5 ship was the one that use to get all the damage, now it is the flag....
Any heads up on that or what???
Thought communication was going to improve somewhat, guess you fooled again.
Nice work of alienating some of your players......AGAIN !
BRAVO !!!
