The wayback machine does let you view some of the old BYM Forums I believe. Some screenshots from it go back to before the forums looked like what they do today. Check it out if you're interested, its a very well made tool. There are also some hidden forum sections I can link you too which contain old BYM Content mixed in with some random content pertaining to other KIXEYE games as well. As I said before, this link contains old BYM posts curiously mixed in with random content. Why this is, I cannot say. But its still interesting, and is also the last remnants I can find of the old BYM Forums unless there's something I missed.

The admins only forum sections can't be seen by the moderators. I'm also a bit curious to see what is behind these forum sections and it could for instance be evidence of dead projects.

Alright. A pity we don't have a way to find out whats going on. Just out of idle curiosity, how do you suppose the CM's would react if they knew we knew about these areas? Think they'd be concerned, or since only top level folks can get a look in, it doesn't matter who does or doesn't know about the many "admin exclusive" sections of the forum?

Also, what about #231 as well? Is that area reserved for the "player experts" from games like WC? Or is something else in there? Can you see?
This is a dead section that can be seen by moderators and few others but have lost its purpose a while ago.

Why are so many test zones though? Unless the mods are like me and can't keep track of their test stages and keep creating new ones, what purpose does it serve for them to have so many areas to test features?

They had another purpose which didn't get utilized sadly. For instance, the main source of communication for the WC Mods is on Discord and not on kixeye.com which was the original intention.
