    manticore is the fleet you had to get for the raid so by rights it should be able to do all targets including lvl 41 and 60s 41s and 60s would or should be free targets for the manticore as its the raid fleet !!! i prefer to hit top lvl targets to get the raid over with but my fleet should do them if i want for near free

    You mean the fleet that he posted for the 2 coin repair that was from a test server, or the one he ran right at the start of the raid when the targets were much easier? At this point I question the integrity of some on that page.
    Yea, I'd like to see new vidoes made showing they can still do 104s and 106s for one hour repair each.


    to be fair on tsm they did remove the old vid. i still want to try the following - i didnt even consider that special and my current scatter fleet is a sliver of damage short.

    Good job Kixeye. I came back and spent money on this stupid game again after 4 years. WOW was I wrong to think anything might have changed. Enjoy my money, its the last you will see of it!!!

    Thanks. Was this made before the damage increase though? I believe I saw this video already, yesterday.

    One hour is impressive. Good job.

    I just did 104 and 106 with missle manti's for four hours fifteen minutes damage. So about two hours per target. Which would have been one hour before the damage jack up yesterday evening.

    dunno. i'm still running 1h30m damage with my scatter fleet in 104s without crew. i'd like to do better. but my scatter fleet leaves a sliver of health on the small ships, so they get an extra volley off on me before i destroy them. so a little extra damage from my fleet should improve it by removing that extra hit i'm taking. i might try that special on only one ship.

    Not sure how only two phals will do. My scatter fleet has five phals and four sprints and they can't shoot down many of the cyro missles from the turret ships.

    My scatter fleet takes eight hours damage from a 104/106 set with a 1 star steelhead. So your repair time is impressive. I stopped using my scatter fleet as not worth the repair time.

    Hit 104/106 with missle manti's and hit 60s with phoenix while manti's repair.

    I found a one star wolfpack in my collection of crews and gave it a try. Seems to work a little better than a one star steelhead crew.

    In the 104, you can ignore two of the three turret ships and let them come to a complete stop further up the screen. Kill everything else off and then 28 second pinch one of the turret ships and take it out no damage. Then retreat and go back in and wait for the final turret ship to come to a complete stop and then pinch and kill that one for no damage. Since I can't seem to shoot many of the cyro missles down, pinch is a better plan.

I had only 3 phans which worked good, but you would need too not get into ship missile range and turret missile range if you wanted to shoot all turret missiles down. Refitted one of the new lvl 3 anti missiles on also and it helps to give a bit more leniency to the driving around the turret missiles.  All antis are on flag ship.

    With the rumors that there is penetrative defense in the targets I think I might change my scatter build from carbon fiber+roaring to scatter system+narrow aperture.

    In the 106s, I have noticed that the Kodiak ships never run out of the special rounds even after the ammo carriers are dead.... I thought they were only supposed to have 3 shots not 5 or 6. In the 104 this happens but not the 106. Anyone else noticed this?


     
    The first time it happened I thought i was seeing things but now it is happening every 106 now I watch for and plan my route....not amused.

    bort if your talking about MDS3 I've done 2 boats now and saw little difference,   with all this missle anti for no explainable reason the Turret missiles still get through.   I sort of believe they are programmed to get through.   Always willing to try something, but used two tokens and some coins.   That's pretty much enough on that one.

    bort if your talking about MDS3 I've done 2 boats now and saw little difference,   with all this missle anti for no explainable reason the Turret missiles still get through.   I sort of believe they are programmed to get through.   Always willing to try something, but used two tokens and some coins.   That's pretty much enough on that one.

    I have Carbon Fiber on two of mine in place of ES4 and it helps kill faster.  One wasn't enough and three made no extra difference.

    Have any of you put the darkwing on, i have full scatter build, carbon casing seems like a good idea, just wondered about DW?

    When has a raid ever been different? They are always the same targets, so you always have to hit them over and over.
    Why is 4 hours of damage too much? That's 8 coin for 10M points.  What do you consider acceptable?
    Um..its been very different at different times in the past and NO, the targets are not always literally the same but if you're saying the BS of the raid is the same..yeah pretty much..that doesn't mean we have to like it or even accept it.

    And to answer your question, less than 8 or more gold which is what its costing me now. Acceptable would be 2 - 4 gold per target and I could get it down to that IF I could ever roll a GM. But I never do lol.
    The targets aren't always the same throughout a raid? Really? I'm not sure that's accurate.  I don't ever recall a target changing (other than damage) during a raid.  Am I misunderstanding you?  

    I think your expectations for the main event for new tech introduction into the game are a bit high. I'm quite content with 6-8 coin/10M points and consider that fair.

    kix doesn't seem to be listening to it's players at all; the low- med lvl players like myself are still taking far too much damage; even in the 41's. i should NOT be taking this amount of damage in the 41's whether i drive in it or not

    Yea my sector is dead during raids now. Everyone hits one target and logs off. Can't do these raids unless you have all the top stuff and even then it's a lot of damage. Even if someone thinks four hours repair per target is acceptable, it's just not fun. Grinding 60s with phoenix while manti's repair isn't fun either.

    Bounty is more fun than raids now. I say we just kill off raids all together and just do bounty.
