so 50 altarian 80 fortresses to get 1 ship your development team need to try it its impossible and so boring vega is now battle pirates in space same type of targets and not worth the effort hence hardly anyone doing event totally pointless you ruined battle pirates now vega going the same way
Hi kixeye people! I have to say this event is way too difficult. The fleets deal too much damage and the fortresses take far too long. I'd really like to take part but these two factors along with the points pay out makes it impossible.
Could the fortresses have less elements too them so that they can be finished quicker. Like someone said it will take 50 level 80 fortresses to get a blank hull. Besides this I'd like to be gathering crafting gear but again for the amount of hits I could do it just wouldn't be worth the effort. Making things so long and difficult drives people away. I just can't play this event in it's current form.
May be reduce fortress size by 25% and, damage by fleets by 25% and increase points payout by 100%. Now that would make things possible both damage and time wise for a lot of players. This way we'd have time to do the fortresses, be able to do a few hits before repair and be able to get a reasonable amount of prizes. Balance!
This is constructive criticism which would go some way in making the event more fun and manageable.
Oh and please don't release this nightmare mode. Things have already gone past crazy and I'm having a nightmare as it is. Thanks

Update regarding the difficulty in this Doomsday event:
This Doomsday Nightmare mode does not have a higher level of difficulty. This is our intentions for future Nightmare modes, but for this specific event that is not active. With this event, we included more loots drops on targets and more grind-able loot within the Event store.
So you think it's fair that all my end game fleets at mk5 and fully loaded can't take out a 110 mother without a 20h repair. What the hell is that all about. I tell you. Game mechanics are totaly wrong and unfair to its hard core gammers. This

they are not listening we are all having the same problem most of my alliance refusing to do it
We heard you all loud and clear about the price of the Mk III Hulls, we have made the following change:
Reduced the Bastion Cruiser and Cavalier Cutter Mk III Hulls in the Event Store from 20 Million point to 10 Million points.
Those who have purchased the Hulls for 20 Million points before this change, please write into CS and we will take care of it for you. Thanks all
no offence, but at half it is still overpriced. I was going to hit 1 fleet and go do something else, because this game is just not worth bothering playing at the moment ill hit a farmer and then log off.
This is an obvious attempt at hitting an event sales budget. The main event did horribly. This is clear when I ranked in the top 500 with a score that would normally barely secure me a spot in the top 2000.
So, kixeye virtually extends the event out another 2 days and renames it slightly.
So lame. What a way to ruin the release of a great ship (the Sovy)

less than 3750 players hit an outpost or mothership, that says it all

For them who decided not to do the event because prices where to high have no point to even start now. This change is for them who still did the event. For me this change was so late.
They have finally pushed us to the limit of what we are able to do. This is the point in time that will be remembered for when they betrayed their customers and lost the game.
sure glad I didn't coin that carrier...saved myself $45 by watching other sovereigns melt on lvl 100 motherships. What a joke, "Heard us loud and clear" about what? The insane cost of a hull soon to be obsolete? I bought coins to do the last 2 events...I still have them...I figger I'm already stupid enough just buying coins...I won't show you my stupidity by throwing them into the trash for trash.
wtf nobody doing the event so turned the **** flts on to automatically hit someone who gets near. **** pissed lost my whole flt. looks like they want more folks to quit playing this game

sorry, but it is not working for everyone. I have watched people flying over motherships with same level flts as mine and not getting attacked. Looks like another reason to quit to me. This BS just keeps adding up and people is tired of it.
I had an issue with a 100 outpost last night where the range on the corvette spawners wouldn't display for the spawner on the right, and once I killed that one the other one disappeared too. It came back on the second hit. It was annoying too as the left spawner somehow got triggered while I was working on the right one. I was very careful to stay out of range, but I'm going to chalk it up to one of the corvettes must have push one of my ships just in range of the other one. It's very annoying how they will try to force their way through small spaces and move my ships out of formation. Of course the other spawner then kept spawning even though I was no longer in range, that was not good.
No video so I can't prove anything, but that was the first time I've had an issue like that with the latest outposts.

Well, see your problem here is obvious. It all started when you decided to enter the carmine nebula.....

well that too. I figured out some of what happened while trying them again in mobilization... once the spawner is triggered the range field disappears. So I must have inadvertently triggered the first one without realizing, which isn't hard to do; the range is hugh.

now you need to fix the target selection x)

Seriously, cut it in half again. 5 million is reasonable for the difficulty of the event.
Or make things easier. One or the other.
One brave cargo pilot seeks to take on the bulk of the Altairian menace all by himself.
Nice event Kix, real nice job

So got home figured I'd give the bases a go sure why not. Fleets now repairing and I'm going to skip the rest of the event thanks for the few days off

$70 US for 2 exterminator MKups? pffft, insulting
