I am a VIP 7 too, and have not minded paying for coins when I knew what to expect and what I would get for them. Lieing to your playerbase when there is an obvious problem to cover up a sad money grab is a sure fire way to keep people from.....paying for more coins....
The corvettes for the Motherships sure have crazy endurance. Makes hitting them not worth it. Most people in our sector are partially killing fleets instead ending the battles before they get to the mothership to avoid being screwed by corvettes.
@CM_Lee Event needs serious attention to decrease difficulty on all new Event Targets. New event should entertain, give enjoyment, and increase participation. But the way it is now is total ****.
If actual health can't be adjusted, ADJUST the targets **** DPS down! And/Or reduce targets shield energy to next to nothing, point 1.
This is absolutely bull 16 hours repair from a lvl 80 outpost with a lvl 99 fleet mostly elite. This sucks massively takes over half a day of my time in repair for 200k really. You really only wanted people playing that paid for tier 7 destroyers I suppose.
If you use an inquisitor destroyer on the fortresses you can shoot one of the ships through the wall and drag them all out to you. Otherwise they can circle you through the walls and you cant shoot them back because they are behind a wall
Like we all really went out and bought inquisitors.
I hit a single fleet, 12 coin repair, blitz it and they charged me 20 coins per hit, hit the X10 button 6 times = 1200 coins bought all the new prizes from the store.

If Cyrus is correct, the Sovereign carrier in the Mothership fleet has a Xeno Shell. How many times do I have to say this:

Time to get back to vanguards farming. It's been a long time since i did that, but i have no other choice. This is the hardest main event in the whole season. The most ridiculous thing is corvettes hp - feels like those are small flying motherships, they took 2-3% of my fleet hp when there were no more enemy ships left besides them. They alone are the reason to avoid both the new kinds of targets.

You hit a Blitz Mothership, so you took more damage. I did a L80 regular and my L100 fleet went to 80%. Only two of my Bastions got triggered. For 200K and five hours, seems reasonable. However, those Corvettes from the Mothership need to get its health halved, I spent a minute killing then after the Mothership died.
In case you're wondering, I'm a Rank 2 non coiner, yet I have a full six M4+ Bastion fleet. You made the mistake hitting a Blitz target, instead of a regular one. I did this hit right out of the gate.
Have you considered to wait one minute before engaging the second wave (mothership) fleets? If you do so, those corvettes will not do any unnecessary damage
The corvette's are murder.. I hit an Alt Mothership 100, went out of time trying to kill 4 measly remaining corvettes. What were the game designers thinking?
And why you do not use some strategy? Corvettes are triggered only when you engage the mothership, so time the engagement in order to have the motherships, cruisers and destroyers dead just a few seconds before the battle ends
Hit a mother ship 80 with bastions (MK3,4) and a pal mk5. 10 hr repair. Followed strategy. Didn't work for me. I don't have all xeno canons hence that could be a problem. Hit a base lvl 80. With 2 mk5 guardians , 2 exterms mk5 and 2 mk2 inqs. Brutal. Couldn't even finish the base in one go and took over 50% damage. I can understand if I take huge damage with AXIS fleets. But with current fleets at mk4 levels taking damage from lvl80's for that point payout is madness. I'll stick to hitting vanguards, brigades etc. I like the base layout and also the mothership targets as such. But the difficulty is just plain stupid.
do some damage controle while it is possible @CM_Lee , remove those corvette from the Fortress and Mothership until you fixed them , they are an abomination and should have never went live in their current state. those thing looks more tanky than a fully hull tank punisher

I dont play games to be frustrated, i play them for fun and these corvettes are in the frustration territory right now.

I did a 100 for 10 hours of repair before sleep last night but it was super close with my paladin at a pixel of health when corvettes remained on the field so i finished it with 3 seconds left on the clock. Had the paladin died it would have timed out for sure... Too unpredictable to be worth it.

my fleet was only 35 minutes repair time but for me to blitz it you charge me 20 coins per hit
