Lovely... kix pulled the resistors out of the FM. So boys and girls that is one more roadblock to finishing those manticores if you were using them. Of course what they will probably do is dump them in a siege TLC if we ever see one.
of course they did, they are pushing PvP
between that and the D5-com being yanked.... this is shaddy as ****. So here we go, they delayed giving any siege tlc due to being butthurt by how easy the cycle was and now the components will be tossed in there instead. This is beyond insulting.
Great, So those on top of FM get the toys, not just early, but on their time. And I was just working on tuning up to try and reach my first tier 5 toy
apparently they are putting them back in next week.......
You will only receive my scorn from this point forward

yes they do but we loose 1 resistor as you can claim just 1 of each per week. So you wont get enough of em before next insane raid start, and still no reply about fked up last raid, its a kix world i guess but even an answer to players like back off would be better then none. Seems they still didnt get it that players keep em afloat, as if they drop em cos of lack of communication and ignorance to the problems they will be out of business
Chores (FM) should not be a grind. Especially if the player owns every blueprint and hull known to man.
Fleets (Dragon + Zelos) that require driving to nanometer precision to minimize damage are not fair fleets. Especially if the precision error results in triple the minimum damage. And especially with the inherent lag in Kix systems.
and the Armour I need to do the raid thats impossible is no longer available, perfect...somebody ban me I'm a cheater really I am I cheat all the time, I biggest cheater there is, in fact I invented the hack. Ban me please

Yea that. This game is a drag now, not becoming one. Taking too much of my ( precious ) free time turning it into frustration time. Will be looking to sell my awesome base LOL
for 105 tqargets in vxp-- Upon destruction, this target will pay out 3 Defender class VXP tokens (10k VXP each).? can i claryfy these tokens are no good for the hull i have just build ie the flag makara? so i should just hit 55 urfs?

Any Ship(hull) used for hitting 105 will earned respective Vxp, based on the damaged done on the target and health(armor pts) loosed by your ships.
Moreover, completing the entire target will award the player additional bonus - VXP tokens (deffender class) which you can hold on your inventory till you need them.
I'd like to know what the story is behind not doubling the VXP payout of the salvage ? they don't do crap for Us that have New Hulls, but did help the lower players rank there research hull.
Just as I thought. Kix doesn't listen to the players as usual, and two campaigns that are useless because they have no relevance to anything now. and a continued garbage in the FM with nothing to help defend bases only to hit. It's why i myself don't care about the base. Pull your heads out people!
bases are unbeatable at the moment if you got the turrets you don't even need a guard.
Bases have been unbeatable since before last bounty and have had even more defensive stuff thrown at them since then

So my f'ing question to rampage is we want an answer on those resistors. We were only able to get a max of 3 before the raid my 4th manti i left short an engine expecting the risitors to be back so what do i have to waste shipyard time to remove the resistors to go with speed6 which is what i was originally gonna go with. Or what. Its really rediculous when we are supposed to guess what your gonna do next.
Lol mate it is a precious situation. Every CM comes to BP Forums full of vigor and enthusiasm, but do that do not last long. This is a vicious community who has been made that way by kix.
Rampage really did not last at all, his new attitude is just showing him up. He should have befriended the community, but instead he chooses the sulking skulking way. Oh well.....
It takes ***** to go to the devs and get answers from them, so the easy way is to blame the community.
After all the personal attacks and forum violations, the cm doesn't owe anyone jack. You're all lucky he didn't just ban a whole bunch of you for the violations committed by the things you said.
I'm curious though, just exactly what is the cm supposed to say at this point? If the company he works for wants damage, damage, and more damage in an effort to make coin, coin, and more coin just exactly what is he supposed to do? All he can do is report back the displeasure. He can't make demands of any other kix employee, at any level. He sure can't tell his boss what to do. Do you tell your boss what to do or how to run his business? No. You make suggestions and hope for the best. Above all else, you don't do or say anything that will cause you to get fired.
So basically at this point we wait and see what happens with the next raid. If it's still the same, tons of damage, little points, expensive prizes, and no fun, then we have choices to make.
1. Adapt and roll with it until you can no longer keep up and then you quit. 2. Quit now. 3. Coin to keep up, which is what they want us to do.
I am totally on the players side in this but there is nothing we can do and there is nothing the cm can do. I'm going with option 1 as option 3 is not an option for me. I also don't see this site lasting much longer anyway. Since this raid, the game is dead. Not many are playing. Comms are quiet. Oceans are quiet. Not much getting hit. Even the forums are quiet since raid. If kix keeps up, not many will get the new raid hull and then another mass quit will occur. The way I see it, unless kix does a major 180, and quick, this game is dead.

I agree about the dead bit,
Excluding people from playing because they can't get the top tech (and we are all different levels) is never ever going to be a way to keep a business running
Taking damage for no reason other than kixeye want to kill your fleet is not fun, and will never ever induce me to coin. In fact it has had totally the opposite effect.
Saw a conversation in comms yesterday about FM.
Basically it went along the lines of:- 'fed up of this FM crap' 'me too' 'and me' 'Yeah doing same thing over and over for hours on end is way past boring'

I can't fault you for that, but do they not owe you some respect to earn respect themselves. They treat us like idiots gamewise, gives us false info and outright lies here. Talk down to us in a condescending way if you dare say anything and then ignore us. You are a customer mate and you deserve some respect, and yea then we should do likewise. I do not give respect where I get none, just because they sit with a banhammer. Who cares?
I also choose your option 1 until I do not anymore, but I will voice my displeasure. As for the game dying, they are not complete ( LOL ) fools, they look at income and I believe they still make a killing.

we want the cm to tell us straight up whats going on-----he is a scared rat
Or he has been ordered to keep quiet. He can only tell us what kix tells him. If kix then changes their plans, then it makes the cm look bad but is not the cm's fault. It's kix fault.
Anyway, I added a 4th manti and hit the 105 vxp target, which is a raid 80s target. Adding a 4th ship did not help with the savage cyro ships. I still got hit by four or five cyro shots. I was hoping the extra damage would take them out faster so I would get hit by less cyro's. Didn't happen though.
The game died for me about a week ago.....only hanging around long enough to see if it changes direction before next raid. Nerfed CM, Nerfed Charged Armours, Nerfed Hulls, Nerfed Weapons, broken promises and Obscene Damage.......What is the point? I like a challenge but what I see is a raping of the player base on the way, not challenge.
Oceans are dead and there is only 5 of my 70 strong alli left after 2 months. I think it is time to truly weigh anchor. Don't blame the mods, find the coiner and sink his fleets in the raid and keep on doing it. In a few months, if you see a Kix employee please remember to stop and drop some change in their hat on the way by in remembrance of what was.
Anyone else tried out the Phoenix retros yet? Something just feels off with them. I have mine at R4 now, and while they kill drones more easily and I guess drop buildings faster, it seems like the turn speed buff is broken. It feels like they're slower turning now, and I'm getting fired at by Hulks that almost never shot me before. The change to speeds just throws off all timing and you'll have to relearn to drive them. I've done maybe 10 since the retro was done, but the 85s that I consistently did for 1-2min damage now is consistently over 5min instant on map. I've had to dock for all I prepped except for 1. I'm not getting away from the larger ships quickly enough even though I'm turning away sooner than before. It can't be a projectile speed created problem yet (haven't done R5), but I guess it could be the ship DPS making them berserk sooner.
But in any case, that retro feels like a bust. It's making a skill hull harder to drive or at least making me have to relearn how to drive it in targets I've been doing for nearly a year. Fun! Not.

Retros have regressed to too little too late and is now only meant for new players catching up, providing of course they have the stuff to retro. Just another useful aspect made redundant by kix.
The speed is a big problem in as far as they cannot get it right. The faster new ships are not really faster, they nerf the older ships speed as the newer ones get released. You can see that with the naked eye if you take an older hull that used to be quick along with a newer one into a target. It is not a bad idea to do it this way, but you need to have the ability to do it properly. That is lacking here.
I have compared the manticores with the scorpion CIC with my phoenix. I fail to see any improvements - can someone help me undestand why we need to spend 2 months buildtime on a hull that's barely better than it's predecessor?
How about re running the scorpion tlc every week till the new raid maybe with its 3 day build tokens i might be able to get 4 missile manticores done in time for the raid with its lousy 3 day build tokens
Nevermind. I see a whole thread on this topic. Have fun.
