i am what they call an end gamer , i have brought players into the game i have helped players develop and then they have felt the need to coin ! the last few months i have not recommended one person and have encourage everyone i know to not coin , they have turned a very addictive very enjoyable game into a pain in the rear of a none enjoyable game , in the last 3 months i have coined less than 2 weeks in 2016 ! and have enjoyed it 600% less
Why shouldn't Kix cater to those that pay to keep this game alive? If you spend big bucks on something, don't you wan't to be catered to by the seller? Who says they aren't listening to the feedback? There is a difference between listening and actually doing what is asked. The majority of the player feedback can fall under three main headers (like this one): make the game easier, make the game cheaper & fix the glitches. They certainly aren't ever going to do the first two, and I think the reason that we don't see any action on the third is because they don't know how. I don't really agree that Kix lies or cons players into coining. I think they rely on the knee-jerk effect that seems so prevalent among players. The majority of players will spend before they think. I do it, you do it, everyone does it in the race to have something out first. I think the number of times we have actually been misled or intentionally lied to as opposed to making a bad knee-jerk decision is a very small ratio. If they have taken fun out of your game, you should find another. That action stands a much better chance of sending your message than ranting in here does.
Knock yourself out mate, we do not care how much you spend nor how entitled you feel by doing so. Leave the rest of us to our own rantings
Actually, I would be considered a low to moderate coiner - probably the worst off of the bunch (spending money but treated like I don't as opposed to not spending money and treated like I don't). I guess I just understand the reality of who is paying the bills here and don't mind if they are "catered" to. It is their spending, not the total number of players, that keeps this game going. I can almost see you implying that in your whale moments - not just here, but anywhere - you don't expect preferential treatment? If so, I call bs. I didn't say you couldn't rant...I said it was pointless. It may make you feel better. It may help you justify your continued loyalty to this game, but it very rarely ever produces constructive results.

Hmmm not sure about that. What I am sure about is the fact my Hunters only killed two ships in PP1 of Hydra and died, along with all my interest to even bother trying again...LOL

What do you expect him to do? It's not his job to design campaigns or raids or any of the other scenarios we love to hate so much.
He gets paid to oversee the volunteer mods, collect and summarise forum postings, act as first level customer support, and try to pacify a howling mob.
Since he as to deal with us on a daily basis and is much more in-tune with how players actually feel -- something mgmt will never be, since all they do is look at revenue projections and whether or not the whales are continuing to feed. Odds are, he's embarrassed at what went down, but his job description only allows him to go so far in what he says. He has to follow the company line and say what they tell him to say if he wants to keep his job. Good job when the game is fun and the players are happy.... which hasn't been this game for several years.
There is a postal address for the company listed on their web site. If you feel strongly enough about things and don't feel you voice is being heard in forums, you're perfectly free to us postal mail and send your concerns to upper mgmt. Anyone taking the time and effort to do something like that has a good chance of being heard, since it is so rare in these days of e-mail and "likes". But address your concerns to the proper people, don't shoot the messenger.
And no, I'm not a fake alias for a KX employee nor a paid astro-turfer. I am tired of how the game gets more and more and more expensive with each set of changes and the price to effectively participate is getting too high. I just wish they'd leave the game alone, stabilize it and let it coast while they focus on getting the HTML5 version ready. Would that be so hard to do? Instead, it looks like they're intent on squeezing blood from stones up until the bitter end.

i will put money on it 40% of the highest scorers in the raid ie over 200 mil are banned , its a known fact alot of alts with naughty bases are used to prep for alis another 40% of that bracket had ceades and 20% are just looney tunes !

Oh really? How is it the company you work for could not release the siege raid targets, and instead felt they needed to be altered? Or better yet... since the last TLC released that should have been siege targets was turned into assault targets, why wasn't that extra time been dedicated towards getting it right the first time?

You know, a good portion of my alliance was already irritated by the FM. The LTs. and I had serious dread during the siege raid cycle about what was coming after the cycle. For 4 months we were essentially able to auto those targets for nothing. We all suspected that kix would attempt to recover the income they may have lost. This is looks like a combination of theft and a big finger to the community.

You do have a point, but I think there needs to be some kind of response from Kix and the response shouldn't necessarily come from him. Even though the mods disappeared from the thread after a few dozen angry comments, when they were present they still showed signs of frustration with the damage and sympathy for the struggling community. He has never once tried to "pacify a howling mob" and he has shown no signs of advocating for the player and zero empathy for our concerns. At this point the players need information, first and foremost Should we expect the next raid to follow the path of this one with an uptick in damage? But at least: Are they considering our situation? Are they evaluating data?
In the end, he is still the COMMUNITY Manager and he is absent.
I have a hard time believing that we are dealing with a company that is brilliantly scamming us AND entirely incompetent.

Could we maybe get something other than Defense hull VXP tokens? I have over 80 banked already. Could really use some Conqueror VXP tokens or something other than just the defense ones.
You need to learn to math I think. With all the ballistic bonus turrets in and a few maxed, you're not gonna make it past the first turn in any decent base.

The main problem on the pvp end and why there are these swings back and forth is Kix decided we needed to have a bounty every month aka "seasonal." Well, thanks to that mindset the minute their new tech is introduced a counter needs to be created. Remember when in the winter we were flat out lied to about the changes? The last raid was scourge 2.0 on crack for many. Now for those that haven't seen it. I recommend watching the TFC show that Raiken was recently on. The answer, "I don't know" is repeated so often that I felt like I was watching a politician. There is also a fine moment where the buck is passed onto a certain someone we al know. I usually rip on people that talk about the game dying because we have seen those posts for years and years. However this game has some serious issues and bad-aids will not fix it. Kixeye, suspend all your bell and whistle gimmicks and make an honest effort to repair the game. Now I am having deja vu. It seems this same belief was voiced by liam and the boys two years ago. Have a great day everyone.

One more thing... you release a new MC armor for more ballistic defense. So what hull with be coming out in the next bounty? Oh a ballistic hull.
