Vanquishers with throwers range 109???

I have an onslaught with rockets and mortars that have a max range of 109.3, can someone point me in direction of the knowledge of why it cant outrange vanquisher throwers? Iv tried looking at shipyard builder but the max range i seem to get with vanquishers and throwers is under 100.
Am i missing something?

VAN has built in +10% Rad range, Polonium accel gives +12% thrower range.. so if you are using say Polonium throwers it will give you a range of 108.. I outrange them with MSC's with 110 but still have to creep up on them or else i start getting blasted, I have shorter range on OS's due to running rockets or chaos so i don't use them to out range but would be very very narrow window with 109 range with morts etc.. Hope this helps

you can out range them with onslaughts you just have to be careful
