Treat these rewards as "not needed to collect them all."

I have also reached Diamond Division at over 14000 Honor within just two days, as a Level 36 player consistently hitting L38-41 players not defended by faction units nor avalanches nor rail launchers. My base does not have heavy turrets though it does have faction infantry inside L5-6 bunkers.

Again, I am hit by players whose levels are mostly L41-46. Only twice or so did I lost to a player who is of a lower level; the worst is a L31 who solo-heralded my base.

The medal rewards from infamy isn't great either though it may net you gear. I am almost always at the Silver Division I (60000 Medals/Week). It only matters for those players constantly striving for Gold Division I, which is very hard since after 2000 Infamy you pretty much have to attack players with good amount of infamy to progress.

I'm done with this game now, kixeye is clearly not listening to players, still more units, more events than ever, i'm finding that i have had to spend a lot of time doing these events to try and keep up, now got to the point where i'm fed up, been in the game for over 4 years and have seen a lot of my friends disappear, i'm just about to join them. Thanks Kixeye, you guys really dont have a clue.

I started april 2012.... they never have listened to players

The have actually listened to the community slightly as otherwise, we wouldn't have to air and ground split from the Tech Center. Even if kixeye haven't taken every piece of feedback into consideration, they have at least done it to some of it.

You believe by them accidently doing something we asked for they are listening?? Lets not even start to mention the things over the years that we the players have NOT asked for but they have done, even when we have said it will ruin the game. Change to repairing toons?? Remember the day you could just let the repairs go through the platoons that where damaged, no time lost, we didn't ask for that change. Unique units, all over powered and has made the game desperately unbalanced as each progressive unit tilts the balance to the other end of the spectrum (only real question is if the air will flat your base or land toon). Tech now sold as individual items, like **** off, if you have it you will replicate it in real life, why not in game (off coarse there is that little issue of the glitch that they never fix). Tokens were not asked for but has added atleast 30% to the grind especially for the non coiners. Consistent oversupply of units and events that cause glitches and lag when we all agree as players that a slow down on the release of these units would be nice. Ridiculous upgrade times that have always been in this game, us oldies have been concerned with those for years but atleast back in the day there was a reason for it. Today there is so much content with upgrades you just can't get things done and the costs are astronomical. These are just SOME of the issues that these idiots have never listened to, they think it will reduce coining, but you free the players up they will go and smash each other, enjoy playing the game and spend. That is good business

I was a level 41 in the game, but I quit two weeks ago.  I have been playing for about 5 years and had been hoping that the grind would slow down. Unfortunately that didn't happen and looks unlikely to happen in the future.  This game became like a second job and finally I reluctantly said enough is enough.  I sadly deleted all my units (so that I wouldn't be tempted to come back again - which I have done before).  The game used to be fun to play, but that is not the case anymore.
I have invested a lot of time in this game and I suppose that is one of the main reasons why I was so reluctant to leave it.  I will still read the forums because I find them interesting but I won't be wasting any time playing "grind/farm commander".  So it is "over and out" from me.  Good luck Commanders.

Here is how I judge the grind:

how long do I need to spend in game to keep up with my daily keep?
how punishing is the game going to be if I need to be out for an extended period of time for whatever reason
is the game equally catered to satisfy both the P2W as well as the F2P aspects
is the game not only capable of attracting new players but hook them without being coerced with offers just to play "catch-up"

this to me approaches a broad enough perspective to scope a game

It's all about soaking as much money out of players as they can. The more "events" they design (all which provide massive damage to units) the more coin will keep rolling in from the people that love throwing money away on a free game. Prime example....how many people found their base defenders not healed this morning? I've talked to a few players, all the same, checked before logging off to ensure unit was healing, red "save" button was not lit, but still woke up with an unhealed platoon in their base....coincidence???

Not only is the game a massive grind but repair times are absurdly long. I guarantee if repair times were shorter (possibly 1/4 of what they are) then people would play a lot more and coin a lot more. The coining fees to repair platoons are outrageous. I know the fanboys will say you dont have to coin bla bla bla but the bottom line is more people would actually coin if it wasn't so ridiculously expensive.

i don't find the game enjoyable anymore. the grind killed it. i log in a couple times a week to upgrade a couple things. the game's design is absolute crap. upgrade 1 at a time, unlock 1 at a time. by the time you have 1 thing upgraded (with out coining) the unit is nerf'd. which is why i don't give a **** about war commander any more. games are enjoyable, war commander is not enjoyable; thus can't be labeled a game for me. for those who do find enjoyment, how much money are you spending? because i'm done with spending.

Nice attempt. But Kix made the mistake a good while back hinting about slowing the content roll out. But nothing from them since. Now they even refuse to discuss it. After repeated appeals to slow down the content from the community. They continue to ignore us. So nice try maybe they will respond.

I remember back in the day, events only happened every 2-3 months. Everybody looked forward to it. Was it attack or defense? What was the cool new unit? I remember the attack dog being an event prize. Nowadays it's ho hum event this month. Another **** unit to build upgrade repair. There's just no more exciting buzz to events these days. Getting burned out on them.

Back in the old days it was fun because you only got an item once and then have fun with it. Now you need to get the same item multiple times which ends up being boring. Also a million tokens are required to have it upgraded. Not fun.

Schematics is the same thing. I remember feeling excited because i got a schematic. Nowadays it's full grind.

Kixeye we need to go back to the enjoyable days of war commander. This is not fun anymore.

their is no end to events because you have to keep repeating over and over and over to get enough of the last chance items just in case they turn out to be useful which makes events boring . before high levels would finish in 2-3 days then help lower levels to progress now their is no time to help so low levels stagnate get bored and leave . by the way everything is at the moment i think kix want us all to walk because like storm devil says the fun has gone most only stay because of the amount of time they have put into the game and the friends they have made

The grind is still too much, but hey I am sure all the hackers are paying you enough in buying gold to keep you a float.
