Good info I Played for 2 years or so then quit for 3 yrs came back in July 5 days or so before July raid. The Glut TLC ran 1 time since I been back and I was unable to do it due the it having the defense grids as targets I believe it was. I had nothing to hit them with untill the big hull raid, So I didnt pay much attention to the tokens it offered as I had no way to do it. Needless to say I dont get weekly tokens so I have no idea how many you even get for weekly I do tier 5 2x week but by just coming back I prob never get that caught up which is no big deal to me really.
hmm, strange, while I am happy with the coming update to the fm, I think the old fm system was good for lower levels to actually get blueprints and proceed forward and level higher, with this new fm I have found it very repetitive getting only tokens from them while the old one changed every week with its prizes. I am curious with what this update will hold.
on a side note, what the **** is with the thermonuclear launcher, is it a mega ship weapon, cause I cant find a ship that can use it?
It is a heavy weapon. Ships must have a heavy weapon slot to fit the Themonuclear launcher.
Zoe's Retribution Retribution Heavy Cruiser Neptune Monarch Empyrean MX-Prime
I believe these are the only ships that currently have a heavy weapon slot available.
Probably should be in a different thread, I don't care. So you give us a Challenge to get mega parts and you need a mega to do it. really. mine sucks and I can't do your stupid challenge. How about something more realistic so I actually can get parts to build.
They did something funny to the game. A 2 hrs update and no new prizes in fm, not really any new TLCs and no bug fixes. Something will most likely be changed in FM targets then? Everything they did in the 2 hrs update normally occurs in a 15 min update. ??????????????????

You've missed a lot of hulls needed to do the TLCs. Cannoneers and Ironclads for the previous Scourge that were Siege class. It'll take time picking those up here and there and building as needed. Eventually you'd catch up on most of those just building for monthly events. You'll get caught up on FM within a few months as long as you don't skip many weeks.
Often Kix only adds 1 new prize to Tier 4, so that's a 2 day token every time after the first week's reset. 4 new items in Tier 5 has meant 2 2 day tokens + 1/3 day after week 2 for the month. That all may be about to change though. In the rare months with 4 weeks between raids, that's 7 2 day from Tier 4, 4 2 day from T5 and a mix of 4 1 or 3 day tokens so an average of 30 days. Another prize in top 2 tiers drops that down to 24 days. Losing a week but no extra prizes, 18 days. Once you're caught up on the FM, worst case is when Kix adds 2 prizes to tier 4, 5 to tier 5, and we only have 3 weeks of FM between raid. That's still 12 days of ship tokens during a short month.
Roughly, count the prizes you have left to win in Tier 5, double that, and that's how many weeks without raid (so divide by 3 to estimate months) you will need to complete the FM 2x each week to get caught up.
Purely speculation, so do NOT quote me on this, but I'm wondering if the FM is going the TLC route like the last raid.
If so, we better be able to pick targets, rather than completing a full set. Those of us with zels/emps will be screwed if we have to hit 103's and the like.
I wouldn't mind seeing these in a TLC, so long we can select targets independently.
It would be nice to have some info before whatever change occurs? Anyone there? I need to stop speculating!!! lol
Tho it a possibility, i doubt it and think your tin foil hat is too active
What we saw last raid was a test to see how it goes, we will see if this becomes permanent or not, in riads.
Dont think they gonna gradually remove map targets.
My tin foil hat may ptn more toward the structure of the FM and not the targets and how to hit them.
Hence, it could be a ptn recalibration of tier, addition of tiers ( not necessarily T7, but maybe in between T4 and T5, there is a huge gap of ptn where they could add additionnal prizes) and redistribution of prizes with maybe more prizes in the lower tiers.
It is not changes to the FM targets. I will work on getting more information to share with you all about the change.
So is the "rebalancing" point redistribution? Because rebalancing can be taking to mean different things. Point distribution is the only way to rebalance without changing the target.
- People complaining about filler junk in the FM that keeps them from their precious tokens when there IS new content, and now complaining there ISN'T.
- People complaining about content overload when there are a bunch of new TLC's, and now complaining about the lack thereof.
Le sigh.
roflmao....i was getting ready to say the very same thing! I think players just want to complain. just play the game people. geesh

Some people want changes while some others like everything to stay the same. So you will always have complains no matter what. People complain for the sake of complain otherwise what else can they do. This game needs skills: skill of playing or skill of complains. lol

The day the complaining stops will be the day this game closes doors. Simply because there's always haves and have-not's.
No online game in my experience is immune to this dichotomy and what is possessed or not changes based on the game and its players. Sometimes its tangible things in game like tech or ships. Sometimes its stability of a computer, browser, program, or ISP. Sometimes its the disparity between player ability and skill levels. Games companies can attempt to balance these things to lessen the felt impact of the disparity, but there'll always be people who feel it and voice their displeasure that it exists. A boon to one is a burden to another. A fix to some is an unwelcome change to others. Some are legitimate, some are as you said complaining for complaining's sake.
You just cant please everyone at the same time and still make a profit. And even then there's always people who when you give em a fiver, they'll look at you and ask why you cant spare ten.
"Fun" is subjective. What's fun for you may be dull for another. When you apply your subjective notion of "fun" onto another as an objective fact, you've set the standard that the only opinion that matters is your own and those kinds of people aren't much fun to be around.

Well, that is my concern, since it is going from 113 to 115 that is likely to entail an increase in difficulty/damage dealt. I remember all too well the increase in difficulty between the 109 and 113- a few orders of magnitude in difficulty. While I don't mind a slight increase in difficulty, if past is prologue, we might be in for a special "treat". Will keep a good thought, but for the moment will stick a pin in this discussion.
Seams to me the game is startin or is running the opposite of what we like it too. Yes Kixeye is trying to make a great game, and make money too, but the more we complain the harder things become....
It is not about people complaining, it is about people leaving the game in droves. Kix listen and cater only to some whales and that will bite them/us in time to come
I just scrapped all of my fleets and most of my base.
you forgot to change your sig.
they delivered on vastly lower ship build times.
Meh...I'm not into building 3-year-old hulls. Does 10 days to build Hunter MK-1 without armor sound reasonable or sound like a reduction in build times? Not in my book.
Yes, I'm back to playing this game. Someone shoot me.

there were 10 days of tokens in the raid that takes you down to zero.
people got a dozen or so tokens in the TLC as well. That takes now you down to minus 12 days.
seems pretty reasonable to me. but i'm not greedy.

well no. across many many hulls
i still have over 60 monolith tokens spare alone. after building my fleet and refitting it as required which is my main FM fleet.
i had a fang fleet for the last raid. i'll have both a hunter and fang fleet with flags for the next raid. no coins spent.
two fleets out in two months was unheard of a couple years ago. four years ago two months would not even get out a full fleet. today its a piece of cake for anyone somewhat current.

Not a million things you have to do right before vxp-weekend. And a great opportunity for people to get caught up in the weekly. This is great kix
Thank you very much!
