Greeting Captains,
I wanted to present you with a refresher for how VXP Weekends work. While the event is running, destroy Unidentified Raider Fleets for massive VXP payouts. “Unidentified Raider ???” will also spawn and pay out moderate amounts of VXP. Salvages and Elite targets will pay out 2x the regular amount of VXP.
What are VXP points?
Veterancy Experience Points (VXP) are acquired in battle, and can upgrade the turning speed and reload time of the participating ships by increasing their rank. This is accomplished by either by sending these ships into combat and earning experience, or by instantly spending gold to increase the rank of the specific vessel. The amount of VXP gained is determined by the amount of damage dealt and received.
Are there any other benefits of VXP?
Repair Specialists can be researched in the Naval Lab, and offer reduced repair times based on the VXP rank of a given ship. There are two steps in order to gain the reduced repair, the first is to open your Naval Lab, go the the "Specialist" Tab. There you can research the specialist specific to the type of hull you would like to see repair times drop for.
TARGETS:
During the start of the event you will find High Level Targets spawn near the Relay Towers.
Unidentified Raiders Fleet 55 (Reaver Armada style target) will spawn the entire time. Existing Salvage and Elite targets will have 2x VXP payout the whole time. There are also “Unidentified Raider ??” targets with a greater pay out than Salvage and Elite Targets. They spawn near Draconian Bases and your base.
REWARDS:
You will earn VXP for the damage to do to ships in the Unidentified Raiders targets, as well as the damage dealt to your fleet. Damage to buildings, turrets, and walls does not contribute to your VXP scores.
You will see your VXP points when you return your fleet to your base:
You will earn additional VXP but there is not a display of the increased earnings, for the event bonus.
If you're going to mention repair specialist then might want to convince them to add specialist for all ships in the game first...
Another situation of the past is our ability to rank ship for 36 hours of top end VXP targets
Does the team things the lesser ranked ship will help players participate in the there events
I understand the need to entice coining, but this is pushing it abit when half of it is when most are asleep or at work/school, hence the ptn behind the 36 h minimum that was put in place from the start.
Those willing to coin for rank alread y did so, thise unwilling/unable wont coin more, so what is that ptn behind this, except to penalize player even more, making you lose players who might ptn a few coins during those events.
You want to increae revenues, well make sure players willing to spend are ready to participate in your event and maybe you will have more player spending instead of them skipping and not spending
Forget the naysayers and serial disliker's, and please keep this type of informative posts coming. For us higher levels its nothing new to see, but for the lower inexperienced players its real nice.
Thanks.
Ships Armor: For instance my Gutspill Phoenix has 12,000 Armor Points.
Ship Weapons: Deal 91,000 per volley
Ultimately I only need 1 volley of weapons to get my maximum VXP in a target. Once I launch a volley of weapons unless I plan on dieing I need to retreat out of the target and go back in for another volley. You gain up to 1 VXP point per 10% of your ships armor as Damage. So if you do 100% of your ships armor as damage you get 10 VXP Points. Ultimately per maximum amount with a double salty and x8 modifer I get about 3500 VXP a trip.
Remember you must deal or take 10% of the ships armor as damage to gain VXP.
T6 Conq Hulls: They must deal 120,000 damage to earn the full bonus for instance.
Gutspill Skyfire: Must deal 140,000 damage to earn the full bonus
Edit: If you've added additional armor it takes that much more to gain a point. It's why back in the day ranking a ship with out armor was the best way
i know it is great for ranking skyfires and phoenix but sucks for ranking conquer and defender hulls.
keep up the good work
ps, any ship with a repair specialist is out dated & not worth building unless your under Lv50
However, him saying "wheres my 12 hours" is simply entitled, offers nothing, and is a troll post in itself and got treated as such.
Your personal insults are water of a ducks back with me, they mean nothing however contribute far more to the toxicity of the forums that you allude to. Hypocrite much beel? Players instead of being entitled and demanding SHOULD construct their views in a manner that results in constructive debate and feedback for kix, and therefore would help engender are far more constructive dialogue, instead of saying "wheres my 12 hours".
So, take your own advice and open your eyes, close your mouth and engage the brain before the fingers.
- You agree 100% with what the post is asking for, but not with the way it was conveyed?
- Instead of articulating your constructive support for it you pick a fight with the poster?
How about we all ("Trolls" and "Whiners") cut each other some slack here and help each other formulate some constructive feedback for Kix that sends the message that we would like the Elite targets to spawn for more than 24h...they take it to the next level with a pathetic consistence that is borderline pitiful
verification of my statement coming soon
These targets are from the raid. This lets us a) practice on them, b) let's kixeye data mine to see what sort of tactics we use on them so they can close any exploits and c) is likely to be doable with the ships we are most likely to concerned with ranking right now.
Also I don't think Kixeye wants to design new targets just for us to gain VXP.
2. Incorrect.
