now i know this is going to be a very old post about the special forces and how they are no good anymore, but for new or returning low lvld players this could be the info they need to get a jump start into the game.
1. Operator
This is your standard jack of all trades, all around decent trooper. range of 450, dps of about 4-8k and hp between 250-150k between the lead and smaller trooper. the operators are best at nothing but are your standard Riflemen in the sf types. tho they have no special tech for them they are best used in large packs and are fairly cheap. bout 4.5 mil with housing spaces of 75 and 50.
2. Heavy Operator
If you like long range and heavy firepower but dont prefer speed, this is your trooper. Heavys bring the pain and have the hp to back it up. slower than their younger brother the operator, heavys bring more dmg and range as well as hp. their specials consist of the ability to negate concussion as well as boost speed making them much better than your standard operator trooper.
3. Preserver
If you like your troops with decent hp, dmg and good range with the ability to ignore most dmg then the Preserver super soldier will make you proud. with dmg around the 5-6k mark and hp between 250-450 and a good range of 450-500 these soldiers live on the front lines. with the ability to ignore small amounts of damage however larger amounts (roughly the damage of a mega tank, behemoth, or challenger) they will take some damage. you can boost that resistance with the augmented armour which boosts their speed, as well as ability to block dmg.
4. Commando
if you love long range fights with the ability to one shot most tanks and buildings, youll love the remade commando. carrying a shoulder mounted rocket launcher they bring death to slow moving heavy tanks and buildings. with really high damage but very low hp they are best used behind a "tank" unit to absorb the damage that would regularly kill them. with the ability to add bonus damage to vehicles, buildings and corrode buildings at least one is best at the end of your assault team.
5. Infiltrator
if you wanna be sneaky beaky and try to act like solid snake from Metal Gear, infils are there. with cloak tech that renders them invisible until spotted or they start firing, infils are your sneaking, behind enemy lines type of trooper. armed with a slow firing but high splash SMG and a close quarters underslung grenade launcher, one must be careful when getting too close to them. abilities to boost their speed by 50% and add bonus damage to air, infils are a good first line of defense on base to put behind enemy spawn points and wreck chaos.
6. Grenadier
High splash damage with automatic resistance to explosions make Naders valuable assets in taking out clusters of troops. firing about 5 rounds before a decent reload make them somewhat tricky to keep safe. abilities to add fire dmg, reduce damage from commando burst launchers, add dmg to infantry or even boost their range, Grenadier troopers are the number one rival of the commando unit.
i know i was talking about sf but ill add in the liberator and acolyte trooper aswell
7. Liberator
high damaging chain gun, high resistance to all damage types and the ability to hit missiles, air and ground make the liberator a #1 trooper for offense and defense. abilities to boost speed and immunity to concussion give you a bait or fire then move trooper. for those that like long range combat target practice (boosts range by 50 to max of 550) heavy armour (reduces more dmg) and anti armour or anti building rounds make libs deadly units to beat.
8. Acolyte
the first ever trooper to carry a railgun the acolyte bring deadly shots to anything unfortunate to be in the way of that gun. packs of acolytes can reduce mighty Growlers, deadly Infernos, and even trick up the god fearing Omega Juggernaut. Zealotry allows Acos to boost movement speed, Magnus rail boosts range by 50, making acolytes with their dmg and speed some of the deadliest baiters along with expert howlers. tho acos dish out great damage, they cant take very much burst. a max lvl sarkis can easily two shot max acos easily.
Best of luck out there new or returning players
