surely the recent stats must show when the memorial weekend offers on reduced coin costs boosted income from players and also stats on spending them coins would have rocketed.... I do think players want to enjoy the game and most players still playing don't mind spending, Increase the coin amounts to 200 coins for $5 and I really do thing you will see more revenue and also see more players battling in a manner that used to be fun with all out wars trying to attack and defend one base at a time.
Another might be the introduction of an "all inclusive" pass you may even see the players that quit the game when the hacks got taken away from them... Set it at $50 a month better them pay you than an external source.

If Kixeye is laser focussed on listening then here are some things I think you need to listen to: 1. Communication needs to be regular and clear. We also need better notice and a monthly calendar of upcoming changes. 2. Content overload is exhausting players and making the game too complicated for many. 3. There is still way too much grind and chores in the game. 4. The massive power swings in PVP are driving people out of the game. Now more so than ever. 5. You need to fix forums. The toxic environment is distancing Kixeye from players and reducing both community feedback and engagement.
Most players I play with are barely hanging in with a thread of hope right now and 2017 has been a real disappointment, after positive changes in 2016. The rest have gone inactive. it makes me think is it worth carring on the amount of fleets we need to do weekly ive just about finished my motor fleet were i could get to tier 4 now i get killed by just doing 1part of a 102 i cant play every hour of the day
who thought a mort boat that shoots across the whole map or a sub that cant be seen and has more power than a real sub was a good idea? if you want all us small coiners to QUIT just say so. The state of the game is if you dont spend 2 or 3 hundred bucks a month we dont give a crap about you so when we are all gone who are the whales gona beat up on?

complete myth that you need to spend 2 or 3 hundred a month. a good alliance that guides you on builds (that you can bounce ideas off of) is invaluable. Too many just want stuff given to them without understanding the game at all.

First time the Gluttony was offered, I was able to get it with two Malices and two Spites. A half-built Pride helped in a few places. Canoneers I had built steadily over a three month period. No coin was spent on the Forever campaign; I think I spent a few coins here and there getting the Spites (Spiteful), Pride (raid), and Canoneers (second raid they were offered). Certainly not hundreds of dollars.
Second offering of the Forever campaign I didn't bother doing, as - for me - the risk/cost didn't justify the reward of more Gluttonies.
Just the single run through gave me the ability to build three Gluttonies with reasonable rank. The first I built with the countermeasures, and never bothered building the other two, as I didn't see the need for them. After the muddle was released, I built the other two, and burned my final 6 day token on refitting the first Gluttony.
So: very little coin used - other than minimal (< 100 coins) per raid and a bit on repairing Hellwraiths during Spiteful - to get three MuddleGluts. All of it could be done coin free, but I'm not that good of a player
Have had close to 10 players I know quit this week, due to costs and kix appearing to slowly kill the game, some of these guys used to spend 100+ a month others maybe 20 1 or 2 nothing. People cannot keep up, unless you wish to keep racking up purchases on your cc. For me the support by kix is average and the campaigns, fm's are getting harder and giving more damage. Even though support says they are not. Thanks for taking the fun out of it Kix and my cc will not be used again for this game or your company
I think I should be excited about the game going forward... but instead all I see is more of the same... massive content overload, poor communication, more complexity, more chores. I've never felt more despondent about the game and I have all but lost interest. Only friends have kept me playing and most have gone inactive or given up since the Muddle Missile no-skill fleets became the latest click the back of the base instant win. Despair is the best way to describe the mood of myself and others I play with.
100% hit the nail on the head, unfortunately Kix will never listen, even though they say they will. I complained that they let banned players back, hacks, who then get thousands of coin to compete again. Screw them what about the players that never hacked and given money on a regular basis to play what used to be a fun game

with the addition of fleet classes you need 3 top teir fleets to get the tec to be able to do much and if you build the wrong fleet there goes 2 months so we must be playing a dif game and i had a good alliance but a lot have stoped playing including a guy kix named a ship after. With 3 or 4 new hulls a month and the life of a fleet around 4 months if they aint coining they may be hacking not trying to be an a hole but the game was so much better a few years ago now just a drain

I know from experience that when Kixeye say they are listening, it is to very few players and often the wrong people. Those who claim to speak on behalf of the community don't even bother to ask what the community thinks and their personal opinions seldom reflect those of most players I know. Kixeye seem more interested in feedback that supports what they have already decided. As a company they also appear to be fixated with data and revenue and have little to no focus on customer experience or satisfaction.
...
Who would you like them to listen to? There are three shows and three blogs. Take your pick from all those involved. Who do you want? Maybe that's where you need to begin. Promote a liaison.
I think the point made was very clear. The community entire and not the self-appointed few. Polls, surveys etc.

lol. listen to everyone and you would have a game where:
every base can be cracked
but no base can be cracked
every base can hold up with just turrets and no fleet
everyone gets a prize, irrespective of effort / time put in
every target can be done for no damage.
every prize can be built instantly
all repairs are instant.
etc etc etc
ie the game would suck and would end within weeks.

Game sucks now, fun has gone, cost is getting ridiculous. Monthly event 2-3 new hulls, campaigns another new hull or 2. For those that can afford to waist money good luck to them. If Kix actually reduced the cost and the amount of builds, they would probably have more people coining (Hard to believe I know) but it has been proven to work. I for one would prefer to spend the money I did spend on this game in real life, which is exactly what I am doing now, until kix finally wakes up and makes the game enjoyable again for all players

You really do not understand the fleet classification system...
Your Empys will be fantastic in Garrison targets for about a year, ditto my Monoliths.
Your Apollos will be fantastic in Assault targets for about a year, ditto my Skyfire/Phoenix, whichever I decide to get (with no coins I might add, this format is the easiest I can remember).
Our Hellwraiths will be fantastic in Skirmish targets for about a year.
Etc.
You're having to scrap your ships because they're terrible hulls, not because of the fleet classification system. The Hellhound was good for maybe a month, and needed Negotiator Morts for that month, I pity anyone who ever built that tripe.
I'm starting to understand Magic Bunny's perspective...

Here are some other things that need to happen for Battle Pirates:
Balance of the game must start by focusing on what is needed for each level preferences. If you look closely to lower levels they will suffer from leveling up to quickly. This is due to resources needed to build ships. Mid levels struggle with build timers and refits with tier 4+. Higher levels struggle with attack timers and lose timers when bases reset.
Balance of Forsaken Missions needs to return lower bases for all to be able to do them. The balance of the game depends on the higher community to help the lower players. This should not be happening all levels should be able to do something. That would mean being able to do something alone rather than waiting for the team or higher player to help them.
Balance of Campaigns is the back bone of the game should relay on the Campaigns for all levels. The issue with Campaigns are they are to hard to do. It needs to have a major over haul for balance of ships or npc within the Campaigns.
Balance of Events the game has ventured to where lower levels do not stand chance of retrieving one event item without help from the team or from the higher community. Events was designed for all players and should return back to where all players have the chance to do them.
Increased VXP the issue is the VXP is to low if as low or mid player levels it takes a long time to get ships bonus effects. If you look at bonus even with given R15 the ships are pretty much plain without them being able to level quicker the time or game progression is to long.
Cost reductions should go across the board building ships should be reduced by 1/2. Tokens need to return to be able to obtain them through missions/campaigns.
Improved PvP removed -/+ 5 level preferences battles should be more on the home front. Want more players active we need to see who will defend and who wont. Players need actions and players are forced to float 5-15 minutes to other sectors. The fight or war should come within the sector to make it better or improved.
Improved base defenses need to start with better turret released along with water mines. We need better choke points for mid level basing. The game is pressing forward without base defense and strategy is something lost along the way. Why not bring back more base challenges.
[End Note]
We also need to have Uranium Events return back to event list the portions of Uranium gained from DUB bases or Cargo Fleets is to small. We need more Uranium to keep productions balanced and moving forward.
not the atlas or the crusader the hellhound and many more that i have scraped but the emp fleet i have can not be used in the campains because it is a genralist and no conqueror no soup for me and the bacon thing is great

well when i try to use my empys it would not let me attack because i had a non conquere ship in fleet and the hulls were state of the game when built years ago. the kix line is I suck my computer sucks and my internet and everything else on my part and some guys can take any base with a gun boat or two but for the rest of us mortals that do not spend all day on line and half of our pay checks have seen the game going down hill faster than ever do we need 3 to 5 new hulls a month how long before we cant even be res pirates any more? if i am wrong then why are there so many dead bases around? those that still have fun with the game good for you but there are fewer of you every week

Because there are a lot of idiots and bad players like you who don't get it.
You don't need three to five new hulls a month. You need ONE hull and MAYBE its flagship every THREE months. You have about a month of free build time per cycle you can build whatever you want in, before we even consider the current availability of tokens.
Crusaders were once incredible. Atlas and Hellhounds were only ever usable and never "state of the ART (not game)".
It won't let you attack because the target is balanced for top tier Conquerors. If you don't have them, you are not ready for the campaign. They did you a favor in locking your Empys out, all that would happen is that would melt like butter sms you'd be here whining the campaign is too hard.
The game is about prioritizing. I have no Conquerors currently built. Ergo, I do not participate in Conqueror campaigns. The most important thing in the game is the FM. Ergo, my Garrison fleet takes priority over everything. The next format is Assault. Ergo, 13 days from now when my current Mono is done building (#2 of eventually 4), I'll be shifting focus to getting and building the Phoenix or the Skyfire. When I finish that fleet, I'll finish my Monos and start working on probably a Conqueror or Defender because I'll be waiting on the T6 Skirmisher.
Oh yeah, and I don't play much except during raids, nor do I coin at all. So that's the "I don't have time/coin" argument shot down as well.
I'm starting to understand Magic Bunny's perspective...

yes. zero coins is extremely ridiculous. How dare they charge that much for the skilled free players to keep up!!!!
with the new changes to the fm .. i am not able to get to tie 5 prizes ,, even with some coin .. this is not fair at all , killed my game 100% .. i was getting t 5 prizes twice over ,, now i carnt even get to tier 5 .. im so over being put back , how many years i have played and how much money i have put in this game ..please put 109 back in the game ,,,,, or help me get to tie 5 prizes in the fm
"First, I want to make it clear that our users are the lifeblood of this game. Your happiness is our primary objective and everything that we do to improve the game is aimed at increasing it." Will Harbin. CEO, Kixeye.
Depending on what fleet you was using to hit the 109, in most cases that fleet will also get you good points in the 113.
If you have the Emp and a decent tank you can with the right pathing kill the 113, yes the fleet will take damage, but you can if planned right kill a slow repair, then do it again, and so on.
There are several video's on utube just watch a few and alter according to your fleet. Hell theres even one vid of a guy completing the 113 with Cits + Tank.
What me cynical, no, never, maybe!!, well I have been playing kix games for over 3 years.
Remember its just a game, your life doesn't rely on you being the best.
Sectors visited :- Who cares, been to some killed some stuff moved on.
Hulls :- Yep got some and some have guns and stuff
The current state of the game is pretty poor in my opinion. Kixeye have made a lot of muck ups in 2017. Far too many, which has all but eroded the confidence of most players I know. While they have tried to address some of these issues it is usually far too little and far too late or simply ignored. The very worst part is very poor communication from the company. The new wishy-washy state-of-the-game post simply glosses over game issues and promises more of the same from a players point of view. It raises more questions than it answers.
All that aside, there is one recent issue that stands out. That is the Muddle Missile Gluttony. This is game-breaking in terms of base defence and attack. I wish all those well who have built it and are having fun. Go for it. But it's sad to see so many players simply walking away in despair and giving up on base defence and even giving up on the game. I am not talking level 50-70 new to the game. I am talking about many of the biggest players with all the latest technology and heavy coiners.
Congratulations to those who don't care. I do care though. I care about continuing to play this game with friends and I can't see this game lasting much longer at this rate. Base defence is important to me. I don't expect it to be one-sided, I expect it to be balanced. If I can't defend my base with the best tech in the game and spending lot of money then I don't want to play. Yes, you can stop this fleet and at the same time leave yourself wide open to others.

My message to Kixeye is simple. Fix your mistake and fix it soon. You are making 0.5% of the community ecstatic and 40% are back to having one or both feet out the door.
LOL!! i heard that. second this. but, we all know it's gonna happen, so..... (sigh)
I don`t know about that. If it helps with the splash from things like mud Gluts, I am going to do them.

See... this. This is exactly what i just posted to the person moaning about you ryda. See my post nust above hehe.
Here are some other things that need to happen for Battle Pirates:
# Balanced building/refit timers
# Balanced Forsaken Missions
# Balanced Campaigns
# Balanced Events
# Increased VXP
# Cost reductions
# Improved PvP
# Improved Base Defense
Balance of the game must start by focusing on what is needed for
each level preferences. If you look closely to lower levels they will
suffer from leveling up to quickly. This is due to resources needed
to build ships. Mid levels struggle with build timers and refits with
tier 4+. Higher levels struggle with attack timers and lose timers
when bases reset.
Balance of Forsaken Missions needs to return lower bases for all
to be able to do them. The balance of the game depends on the
higher community to help the lower players. This should not be
happening all levels should be able to do something. That would
mean being able to do something alone rather than waiting for the
team or higher player to help them.
Balance of Campaigns is the back bone of the game should relay on
the Campaigns for all levels. The issue with Campaigns are they are
to hard to do. It needs to have a major over haul for balance of ships
or npc within the Campaigns.
Balance of Events the game has ventured to where lower levels do not
stand chance of retrieving one event item without help from the team or
from the higher community. Events was designed for all players and
should return back to where all players have the chance to do them.
Increased VXP the issue is the VXP is to low if as low or mid player
levels it takes a long time to get ships bonus effects. If you look at
bonus even with given R15 the ships are pretty much plain without
them being able to level quicker the time or game progression is to
long.
Cost reductions should go across the board building ships should
be reduced by 1/2. Tokens need to return to be able to obtain
them through missions/campaigns.
Improved PvP removed -/+ 5 level preferences battles should
be more on the home front. Want more players active we need
to see who will defend and who wont. Players need actions and
players are forced to float 5-15 minutes to other sectors. The
fight or war should come within the sector to make it better or
improved.
Improved base defenses need to start with better turret released
along with water mines. We need better choke points for mid level
basing. The game is pressing forward without base defense and
strategy is something lost along the way. Why not bring back more
base challenges.
[End Note]
We also need to have Uranium Events return back to event list the
portions of Uranium gained from DUB bases or Cargo Fleets is to
small. We need more Uranium to keep productions balanced and
moving forward.
well when i try to use my empys it would not let me attack because i had a non conquere ship in fleet and the hulls were state of the game when built years ago. the kix line is I suck my computer sucks and my internet and everything else on my part and some guys can take any base with a gun boat or two but for the rest of us mortals that do not spend all day on line and half of our pay checks have seen the game going down hill faster than ever do we need 3 to 5 new hulls a month how long before we cant even be res pirates any more? if i am wrong then why are there so many dead bases around? those that still have fun with the game good for you but there are fewer of you every week
So that's the "I don't have time/coin" argument shot down as well.
next raid june 15th is garrison the assault is not till july raid
yes. zero coins is extremely ridiculous. How dare they charge that much for the skilled free players to keep up!!!!
Exactly, 1 foot out the door.
