If Kixeye is laser focussed on listening then here are some things I think you need to listen to: 1. Communication needs to be regular and clear. We also need better notice and a monthly calendar of upcoming changes. 2. Content overload is exhausting players and making the game too complicated for many. 3. There is still way too much grind and chores in the game. 4. The massive power swings in PVP are driving people out of the game. Now more so than ever. 5. You need to fix forums. The toxic environment is distancing Kixeye from players and reducing both community feedback and engagement.
Most players I play with are barely hanging in with a thread of hope right now and 2017 has been a real disappointment, after positive changes in 2016. The rest have gone inactive.
Outpost ten, weaponize the outpost, now I really need to get my walls up to level 9, Also The “Auto” Skyfire Carrier, a UAV specialist with close-range automatic defenses, looks like its time to decommission my old carriers, bout time no more trying to figure out there defenses but when can we get more uavs????
Attack Me I Will Seek Revenge, Not today Of Course, but much later down the line.
idk if this is the right place to post this but i was told i cant do the tlc with my zelos/empyrean fleet is that true?

just curious, what players are you listening to in this "laser focus" you mentioned? I lol'd at this in another thread until I realized it was a serious comment. You most certainly didn't listen to anyone rolling out the FM updates early and replacing (not gradually phasing out) the 109s with the 113. I guess I need to go back and see that thread again about the new target rollout to see the changes
I think I should be excited about the game going forward... but instead all I see is more of the same... massive content overload, poor communication, more complexity, more chores. I've never felt more despondent about the game and I have all but lost interest. Only friends have kept me playing and most have gone inactive or given up since the Muddle Missile no-skill fleets became the latest click the back of the base instant win. Despair is the best way to describe the mood of myself and others I play with.
Nice, I like the plans mentioned in this State of the Game. Although, I have to ask: What happened to the Mega ship idea ? Its been a while since tech was added for it and not a tiny hint if there will be anything added. Sure, the Mega ship isnt the most popular feature but is it on the way to get forgotten like the arena ? Havent used it myself for quite a bit now but without something new for it it will most likely keep like that. Would be sad to see that all the work for and on it was for nothing.
My sector has gone from vibrant to dormant since the turn of the year, Must have Auto "Disasters", overpriced hulls, locked in hulls, weaps and tech which are nothing like their descriptions, re-working of already released content because it was pants.. " laser focused" ? More like requires laser treatment !!!

3 TLC's in this Update.....All are repeats.....What sort of progress is this?
I think it's great, gives those who missed out last time a chance to catch up, gives others a break from content overload if they don't want to do them.

Also, gives us that were able to do them the first time, more ship tokens for if we decide to do a refit
I am wondering what and who they were listening to as most of my fellow players have complained about the cost of the game and that it's becoming way too expensive and that Kix is greedy. Sure this game has changed a lot over the past number of years and we would expect that but it's lost it's appeal and losing players of long standing. Listening? Really?
I think the one big thing we can take from this is that mega hulls are dead. For good. If they had any plans, they'd be related to the coming assault cycle.
Sayonara, you will not be missed.

Raids Boycotted: Hellstrike, Lightning Carrier, Enforcer, Neptune- and at this rate, the entire upcoming Reaver raid series.

Well, all I can tell you is that I am not spending any more than I ever have- same budget for the last 6 years. You have to pick and chose how you play the game. Sure, if you want bleeding edge tech its going to be very expensive- but if you pace yourself a bit and build over time rather than reacting to each new development, you may find that to be a more prudent and budget conscious approach. For instance I am just now midway into building an IB fleet and hope it will be competitive in FM going forward. There was no way I was going to spend the coin and seat time when it first came out- what....? at 60 million raid points? Not on my "b" tier beer budget...
I like the part where it says: 'With Gluttony you can heal your other ships, making it a stealthy back-line ace-in-the-hole.' Well there's nothing 'back line' about it at the moment lads.
Raikan is still around and kicking.

what month do you anticipate rolling out OP10?

They didn't listen, they just SAID they listened.
Or maybe they DID listen...and just ignored it.
