The battle has begun!  Attack and destroy bases of the The Four Horsemen to unlock the blueprints of light vehicle variants.  These include:
·      PK Transport
·      Humvee Transport
·      Stryker Transport
The Variant units have the special ability to unload infantry when it is destroyed.  Watch this video to see the Variant units in action:

The brand new prizes available exclusively in Revelation are variants of light vehicles including the PK, Humvee and Stryker.  These units are painted jet black and classified as Transport vehicles.  After obtaining their blueprint, the variants will have the same Promotion level of the regular versions.

When a variant is destroyed in battle, infantry will exit the vehicle and join the assault.  The PK Transport carries Riflemen, the Humvee Transport carries Machine Gunners, and the Stryker Transport carries Force Recon.  All of these infantry will automatically be at the same Promotion level displayed in your Army window.

Keep in mind that you must have the original units unlocked before you can use their variants.  These awesome new units are only available in Revelation so don’t miss this opportunity to add them to your Army.

This is the First Event With Variant Prizes. I would like to hope and please urge the lead directors of this game to not follow suite of the elite versions of War Commander and the pure overshadowing of  units in such games as Battle Pirates. Alot of games make the mistake of just pushing the next and greatest thing. As positive as the game is, The Ui, Production, Asset Art, Build Times. Cool Units should resurface in the form of the campaign missions. Allowing new players to progress the game and collect the legacy units. That way the bridge of progression to remain solidified.

As for War Commander I will probably come back around October 2018.
Granted if Net Neutrality gets taken down. Then forget about any free to pay/play games for me. (I have a soft spot for holidays and zombies)

I would like to expand on the statement and quote I made earlier. To see if I could better illustrate my point.

I would like War Commander Rouge Assault to avoid the mistakes of many other games in the past. Instead of making the next and greatest thing. Each unit gets a character trait, giving the unit a unique functionality that is useful and can be refereed back to in the metta of the game. I do not want to see the power creep to raise and make these units that people played the events for and worked hard for to be over shadowed by just buffing stats every time a new variant is released. I thought the IPC role of units was really cool, and a welcome addition to the game. A value that truely adds strategy. Done so well that variants can be tested and tried on an existing core set of units that should remain critical and hold there weight and role in the game in there specific tier.

And so when events passed and a new unit comes like the sniper or the variants ov the 3 sustained light units come. Adding these units to be obtained through the campaign which allows players to pick up on the new story and lore that they might of missed and maintain progression would be amazing.

It can also be done in a scale able manor, a time frame of a 3-4 weeks from the last event. Giving the players like me (no shame to support the game) who drop money or work hard to earn said prize.

I hope I kept it simple and understandable. I would love feedback. Because this is a young game and I also want it to have a really good solid foundation. I highly doubt you would want to see a game that becomes a repair via mid flight with a list units that are pointless and have to struggle with how to catch up like in the other games.

I also would like to quickly point out that ontop of unit classifications like the APC their are unit roles that I observe that you can fill.

Including and assuming 3 tiers spread across the lvls in game at least
    Infantry: AoE x3
    Light Vehicle: Burst  x3
    Heavy Vehicle: Sustained x3
    Copter x3: aoe
Winged air craft (Which can be split uniquely based off attack pattern) though currently under one tier
Burst Winged drone bombing until destroyed x2
    Thunderbolt:sustained bullet strafe x2
    Raptor Aoe Bomb x2

So that is at least 18 new units that can be added to the game or unlocked via event.
And then there are the custom variant blueprints which in my humble opinion you should definitely strive to put quality time making the variant feel like picking a type of fighter and not just a sub evolution of the unit.

Add a new equipment type for said new units except with winged units which could be split or remain the same.

And you got a awesome set of prizes, a way to have players obtain via event, campaign or player lvl. And you are goooood.

It's not always someone does the homework for you. ;)
