Where is support when my base has been attacked?

Hi,
I got this infantry and armor reinforcment on main map and during attack on my base no support arrive. So what is point spending all metal on Global Operations if nothing happend.

I will be appreciate for your advice.

    First your base have to be adjacent to your fobs.
    Second the fobs only send troops when your base was attacked from the map. If the attack was from random PvP battle the the fobs are useless.
