I see that a few alliances have formed lines on the maps. But i can easily spawn around them and find mining spots

What happens during an alliance war.. Are there huge rewards handed out, is there excess oil given to the victors ????

I see the lines but I have seen nobody attack a line no alliances warring.. In fact I read some of the profiles of top alliances and many of the top alliances are in cahoots together

So far i have seen no reason to join one... What am I missing here

2nd I have tried ot form an alliance but everyone quits the game way before lvl 20.. That is because of the lack of oil but obviously the developers know better.

So what are the benefits

I'm being serious here..  Whats the point.

besides having expectations tossed upon me and having to abide to alliance rules or be kicked what are my benefits.

I see there are a few very OP alliances out there all in cahoots and not attacking each other.. Should I just join a super alliance and have an easier time at farming ??

I've tried desperately to form an alliance but all of those players quit the game all together in short order.  SO I want to build an alliance from scratch but its always fails so should I join the legions and just give up and join the established alliances and have an easy go of it.. Sounds real boring

Why is it so hard to have a discussion here. If I wanted to read the wiki I would go there. I prefer discussion which is the entire purpose of a forum

SO engage in the discussion mr swag.. I've already read the wiki. It tells me NOTHING regarding why I would join an alliance

Now you said there is lots of information on the wiki.. I beg to differ because this is the entire alliance section

So this is what you linked me to .. Now tell me how this answers anything

There’s strength in numbers and you’ll need all the strength you can muster in the War Zones. After you join an Alliance, all of the members will then appear in a blue highlight (instead of red) in War Zones. As they are now your friends, you will not be able to attack their base or Forward Operating Bases.

One of the greatest tactical advantages to being in an Alliance is the ability to coordinate the placement of FOB’s in War Zones. For example, your Alliance can find a secluded corner and line up FOB’s as a defense perimeter.

And if you want to try and bust through an enemy Alliance defense perimeter, you’ll likely need the full force of your Alliance to be victorious. There’s no better place to share your intelligence and learn from experienced players than in your Alliance.

I have no issues all alone in war zones.  so you have all these alliances that are way to large IMO making huge lines and getting stronger. Nobody is attacking these lines because the cost of doing so is not worth the effort or reward

Why would I want to draw a line an hold it.,. What possible joy would I get from that. My joy comes from attacking other players and building my base. Holding a line as part of an alliance just doesn't sound like much fun to me. Fun comes in the form of huge rewards

So what are these rewards for holding the line or taking down another alliances line..
