I understand this looks to be quite a daunting challenge, and it is. A few gentle reminders for everyone, though:
- Solo targets are balanced at a lower difficulty than Co-Op targets. Your task is not to face a level 95 Co-Op target by yourself. While boss targets will be extremely difficult (they are boss targets, after all), they are balanced for one player to tackle.
- Yes, the latest Xeno ships with the latest Xeno tech equipped will be the most efficient means to destroy a target. As was mentioned at the start of this season, the highest level tech from the monthly events and various sector activities are subsequently going to be the best to use for the highest level Alien targets. They are not the only means to destroy a target, just the most efficient.
- This event lasts for 4 days. A single boss target fight at the highest level will earn you enough points to unlock almost any prize in the store, and those are far from the only targets on the map. So don't go into this feeling like you have to completely clean out the store in a day, you have time and you have options. Plan your strategies accordingly.
Please read and understand what you just said.
So for those that do not have large wallets with a disposable income of creating such fleets, can you please outline how these players are suppose to complete the event?
So a single boss target is smashed and I have 15 hours of repairs, giving me a maximum (If I am lucky) of 7 targets at 5.09 mil points. Now that seems like a lot, until you examine the store prices.
If you are seeking to outfit your Xeno Cutters or Punishers with the new weapon. You will need
Cutters 6 million points Punishers 4.8 million points
That does not include anything else, the new BP that is a great match for the weapon, crafting materials, or some DC Cutters to skip the build time.
What is kixeye really giving us? A event that requires players to have a top tier fleet in order to finish. If you can coin repairs. Don't Save the money for the new fleet. Don' build the Xeno Cutters as you will need to build Xeno Battleships and destroyers.
Why?
Didn't you read the "Upcoming events and content" from the development team?
The next high pay-off targets will be the revamped reaper fleets and AI targets that will resemble you attacking a base will be coming.
What should you build in the mean time? Punishers!!!! Without engines!!!! the Strike thrusters will be what is used to bridge the gap in speed. Just try to fit them with the Xeno Cannons and as much armor as you can. Meta III Shields are a waste of repair time.
Now get out there, close your wallets, and just say no to kixeye until they can host events that are balanced before hand and do not reduce the amount of points for a AI fleet by 50% just becuase you saw it last week. The people purchasing huge amounts of coins, already have cheap repair fleets to complete this event.
Now that is some grade A customer support from myself if I don't say so myself.

I'm almost afraid to ask...
but how many parts will it take to complete the blueprint? 6? 8? 10? more?
I am guessing that it's gonna be enough so that they make enough money from this event.....
cuz....
once a mega coiner has that BP....
they can make 12,000 DPS fleets....
and then any event after that would be a breeze and require barely any coining until next year. They already go the resistant armor BP and now will have the DPS to wreak events with minimal coining. Lol
I guess this event is where kix needs money cuz the rest of the year, those mega coiners ain't gonna be coining much during events.... as kix cannot make the highest lvl fleets in future events too hard for other players who don't have that BP and mega coiners can just insta rep lower lvl fleets..
In the end kix makes no money down the line and casual coiners / non-coiners find more reasons to quit....
Just compare this to the ranger swarms.... those required a ton of fleets to be hit to get one lvl 3? This BP makes it so that you have no reason or design to hit more event fleets in future events once you have it... cuz its a BP and kix looses money for that.
Top coiners in my alliance always say how much they spent and how many fleets they hit to get 6x lvl3 cuz they want it and is rare and now the xeno cluster BP eliminates any need for repeated coining.
I'm almost afraid to ask... but how many parts will it take to complete the blueprint? 6? 8? 10? more?
Traditionally 8, but this is a tier 6 BP and all others are Tier 4 or lower. Not many T5 BPs to judge/I had all T5 before they were huntable BPs if they are any.

Ya know, in the story of the game, reducing the point payout on older flts makes sense. Geir wants us to get info on the aliens, well guess what? we have learned just about everything we can from the regular hives, and the reapers are starting to become old news too. So quit your whining, and think about it logically. not only that, but the ever increasing flt lvs also makes sense. the aliens are getting annoyed that we have not died yet, so they are sending more powerful things to try and kill us
Sure, aliens adapting and sending stronger more valuable fleets makes sense.... but why does that have anything to do with the other fleets values, its not like they proportionately scaled down their difficulty, you dont take less damage. Juat because people hve had more time to work on them and fogure them out doesnt mean its gonna be easier. For someone who just bow figured out how to manage reapers its a major slap on the face, especially when they were the hardest thing around a couple weeks ago
really? lets say you see a dread, with aurora ray setup. The most you can learn from that, is how to build a dread, how to make aurora rays, fusion 3, and optics 5. That's assuming no shield. You can't learn anything new after that. same applies here. once you have figured their stuff out, there is nothing new to learn, hence why intel payouts are reduced
Barrage fleets are the most STUPID fleets that require NO skill whatsoever. Theyre LITERALLY everything that is unfair to farm LONG RANGE, MASSIVE DAMAGE, UNDODGEABLE DAMAGE, STASIS FIELD, 360 RANGE And you made all harvester targets **** barrage ships? So I need mk5 fleets of decimators to even get good stuff? You telling me punishers are gonna be obsolete for farming in a few weeks and once the t6 battleships come out mk5 decimators will be obsolete for farming as well???
So balanced you had to reduce damage 50% and then 'help' by giving a two hour repair reduction joke?
Do you guys ever play, test or even open the game at all?
And finally, why not charge coins per harvester hit? It is only for mega coiners now right?
Your strategy is short sighted. Whales already have most of what they need to breeze through. They won't need to keep spending more unless you keep making fleets bigger like level 150. Every time you do that, you alienate anyone who is not a whale. How sustainable is that?
Start looking for a new job (and I say that in a friendly way).
but how many parts will it take to complete the blueprint? 6? 8? 10? more?
The Xeno Cluster Missile blueprint is 8 pieces, which are guaranteed drops from boss targets (assuming the qualifications outlined in the original post are met).
