Alien Mobilization Begins 03/16 at 3 PM Pacific [updated]

Attention Rebels! The Alien forces are mobilizing again and will be in Rebel space on March 16th at 3PM Pacific. You have 72 hours from event start to hit these mobilized fleets and earn points.

This Mobilization includes NEW Alien Hives as well as old hives and Alien Reaper targets.

From the design team:

Our new Barrage Hive targets are all about long range attacks, they are armed to the teeth with long range weapons but contain weak short range weapons. The Barrage hives also project a stasis field around them, so you will want to take the fastest ships and engines available to charge past the long range weapons into the low danger zone of their close range weapons.

Punishers Cruisers make great shields however Decimator Cutters are quicker, good luck with your strategies Rebels!

Co-op targets will feature the same 3-hive Alien Hives as the previous Mobilization, while the solo targets consist of 2 Alien Hives.

TARGET POINTS

Solo Hives (old) levels 40-55 will grant 1,500-5,000 points.

Co-op Hives (old) levels 40-55 will grant 3,500-10,000 points.

Alien Reapers level 60-68 will give 40,000 - 60,835 points.

New Alien Hives (solo only) levels 70-90 will give 85,169 - 591,003 points. These new hives will also drop Decimator Cutter Mk 2 crafting boxes (80, 83, 85) and Decimator Cutter Mk 3 crafting boxes (88, 90).

The EXAL Heavy Talonite Armor is heavy weight armor when equipped to your ship, allows it to more efficiently absorb fire from explosive and alien damage.

50% explosive resistance

20% alien resistance

Level 2

Mass: 2002t

Armor: 4555 health

50% explosive resistance

40% alien resistance

Armour: 3817 health

50% explosive resistance

Infernal Vector Torpedo 3

Infernal Wave Driver 3

Infernal Gatling Ray 3

Heretic Cruiser Hull (built)

Vigilante Battleship Hull (built)

Freyja Carrier Hull (built)

SILVER Prize Boxes will drop one of the following (listed in order of most probable > least probable):

Boosted Pulse Ray 3

Frenzied Hex Missile 3

Frenzied Scatter Missile 3

Zeal Battleship Hull (built)

Corinthian Cruiser Hull (built)

    That exal armor on a xeno ship.... so much alien resistance making alien type weapons less valuable...

    Do the lasers and missiles have a minimum range?

    I would assume so since they clearly say "low danger zone in their close range"

    wouldn't be hard to get dosen't mean that thing should cost that amount of points. This is not a ship, this is an armor bluepribt.

    He's correct, though. Attacks (or damage incurred) per prize tier is way more important. The 1mil tier is a lot easier to get when you can earn almost 600k points per attack.

    @CM_Scarlett

    There is a lot of explosive specific armor and weapons lately.

    So, I have a quick question:
    Are the new hives dealing alien damage for:
    Laser: Alien/Energy
    Missile: Alien/Explosive
    Gatling: Alien/Laser

    I am assuming laser/gatling is probably alien, but I am really curious about the missiles. :-)

    Typo, :-/ that's supposed to be:
    Laser: Alien/Energy
    Missile: Alien/Explosive
    Gatling: Alien/Energy *

    Well i get the alien resistance... but the explosive resist combined with dual resistors literally means a punisher will be **** near immune to explosive damage xD (not completely obviously but itll feel like it)

    just existing at this point

    can the new hives stay on a 75 and 70 but not the 60 or 55?

    @CM_Scarlett , nice line up for the mobilization and all and im looking forward to the challenge, i just hope these hives are not overpowered, however for the meantime i have just 1 question, when are we gonna get the high res snap of the Decimator Cutter from last event with possibly a high res snap of the Blitz Thrusters as well please [both with out any background preferably]?

    This is ok for farming alien fleets at ease.

    25% explosive resistance   <- this should be at least slightly 35% or 40%

    Mass: 1468t

    Armour: 3817 health

    50% explosive resistance   <- and for this to be 75% or 80%


    this should help balancing it out of a strong resistor for using armor with no alien resistor and should be a blueprint since its an alien tech as well. lets make this tech useful.

    Along with 400 coins repair per attack... sure very easy...
