Attention Rebels! The Alien forces are mobilizing again and will be in Rebel space on March 16th at 3PM Pacific. You have 72 hours from event start to hit these mobilized fleets and earn points.
This Mobilization includes NEW Alien Hives as well as old hives and Alien Reaper targets.
From the design team:
Our new Barrage Hive targets are all about long range attacks, they are armed to the teeth with long range weapons but contain weak short range weapons. The Barrage hives also project a stasis field around them, so you will want to take the fastest ships and engines available to charge past the long range weapons into the low danger zone of their close range weapons.
Punishers Cruisers make great shields however Decimator Cutters are quicker, good luck with your strategies Rebels!
Co-op targets will feature the same 3-hive Alien Hives as the previous Mobilization, while the solo targets consist of 2 Alien Hives.
TARGET POINTS
Solo Hives (old) levels 40-55 will grant 1,500-5,000 points.
Co-op Hives (old) levels 40-55 will grant 3,500-10,000 points.
Alien Reapers level 60-68 will give 40,000 - 60,835 points.
New Alien Hives (solo only) levels 70-90 will give 85,169 - 591,003 points. These new hives will also drop Decimator Cutter Mk 2 crafting boxes (80, 83, 85) and Decimator Cutter Mk 3 crafting boxes (88, 90).

There is a lot of explosive specific armor and weapons lately.
So, I have a quick question:
Are the new hives dealing alien damage for:
Laser: Alien/Energy
Missile: Alien/Explosive
Gatling: Alien/Laser
I am assuming laser/gatling is probably alien, but I am really curious about the missiles. :-)

Well i get the alien resistance... but the explosive resist combined with dual resistors literally means a punisher will be **** near immune to explosive damage xD (not completely obviously but itll feel like it)

The stasis fields on hives is lame. Makes our xeno cutters worthless if we dont buy craft for em. Also lame u greatly reduced the points of reapers. Did u at least lower the difficulty of the reapers as well?
And just how many can hit that. Why not just come out and say mega coiner only game from now on?

this should help balancing it out of a strong resistor for using armor with no alien resistor and should be a blueprint since its an alien tech as well. lets make this tech useful.
