this is kix guys no your existing builds wont be effected. you are supposed to coin your existing build then coin as many ships as you have coins for 3hrs
This build discount really goes to show how stupid kix is. Might as well make the discount 5 minutes long for the coiners since they will be the only ones to do anything worthwhile with this ridiculousness.
These build reduction and refit reductions would be great if we were told about them a week before they happened. But as it is now they are of limited use because we are never told about them until the day before. I guess kix wants us to coin finish our ships that are currently building so we can get this 25% reduction in build time. Sigh.
I already have a ship building that wont be done for four more days so this build reduction does not help me. Give us notice a week ahead please otherwise these reductions have very limited use.
I always build empty hulls. Maybe it lowers your chance to have a busy factory a little bit every now and then. But most of the time your factory will be busy none the less. Some refits take more time than building emty hulls.. In my case I have punisher building on 2 accounts and won't get any benefit from this since cancelling now would be a loss instead of a gain.
I don't get how you figure we should be building the new cutter already. I even coined a few punishers on both accounts and am not done with them yet. I'll just ignore the new cutter for now like most are doing on this unrealistic time line of kixeye.
I get that you want people to coin the cutters just before the cw, but atleast give other players a chance of making use of this build reduction promo. Hence make it a usable credit or make it a 48h-1week timer. (As I understand the reduction is only for hulls and not refits, so why not)

Like it or not, if you're not coining, you are irrelevant to them.
Our alliance was enlightend to see that we get a 20% faster ship build bonus, this really helps the non coiners, but also those who coin for a bit each week. However, that moment of joy was for a short period only, not only it last for a complete 3 hours, it does not even work on ship builds wich are allready running. So either i have to stop my current build and lose 3 days, or coin the remaining 4 days and 20 hours so i can have a benefit on this Joke, just like the other lucky ones that had no build running yet.
What are u actually trying to pull here? Of Course i realize that ur top coining players are the only ones u cash about...sorry care off course, my bad.
U screw us over and over and over again what is ur main goal here? lose all non coining players and then off course the less coining people so the big coiners stay. u realize that those 3 need eachother to keep the game at least a tiny bit intresting wich is hard since u speeding up everything u got in stock. off course there are a select group of players that are stupid enough (ow this is gonna hurt a few players i know i know, just get over it) enough to keep coining and coining and coining so they can win battles from less fleets and then brag about their mighty fleet and big purse. And off course i understand that u did not build this game for us but for ur own purse. But see as it like the ocean when u fish out all the available fish to quick one dat the ocean will empty out. Why not go on a slower pace and collect more money over a longer period en give players more joy?

Even tho this bonus is for coiners... Overall I'm happy with what kix has done in last few weeks.... The gaiting fixed a lot of problems with bases getting run over and events have been pretty good even for low levels. Yea the builds are crazy but at least you only have to build them once.

Last event was pretty good the one before that was crappy. Honestly I think they might as well not bother. People keep asking for these refit/build discounts, but inevitable what they accomplish most are threads like these filled with angry comments from people in the middle of builds. I'm in that boat this time as well. A three week advance notice (to cover the Dominion swarm builds) is asking a lot. A day or two notice like the last refit I thought was good, but seems to still be too short for many people on the forums.
I've always seen these discount build/refit events as a random bonus, sometimes the stars line up, sometimes not. Not worth getting upset over.
