Well Commanders..

I didn't play the game for a while so I'm little confused with all of this updates and have few questions about base setup and other things..

1- Does Bullseye is used anymore? I feel like I could need them to get hard turret or something especially they can hit airborne.

2- What about Achilles? you still using it? How much effective the DMG is?

3- How to know the best platoons setup and what units to use and when? I searched for few Videos and Topics but couldn't find everything I want.

4- I see few players use 3 R
ail Launcher and 1 Heavy Flak, What is the best to use?

5- The Tech Items for Workshop, I don't have most of it, Will it come back again? I need some items for Sandstorm, Hummer Viper X and Heroes.

6- What is the best units to use in Bunkers and Watchtowers?

7- What about Weapons Lab? DO you use it, or it's useless most of the time? I just don't wanna spend time to upgrade while i need to upgrade many buildings else.

I'm LVL 39 and use Blitz, Avalanche and AA Plasma in my base BTW, and until now,I almost don't have any good units in the Platoons and i search for new sector now.. Any Help?

Thank you all ;)

    1. Yes, Bullseyes and Mavericks are useful.
    2. I've never bothered to upgrade Achilles since I quit for 2 years, and even though they've become much more useful since the advent of unique and semi-unique Special Forces, zombies invaded keeping my already level 10 Earthshatters useful. I think Faction units are considered unique by Achilles, too, but haven't tested. Finishing upgrading Earthshatters, but probably won't bother with Achilles since all rockets, while better than nothing, are only a minor nuisance to modern units. If your Achilles are upgraded or have a good start, upgrade and use them, otherwise, I'd focus on Heavies and such in the Defense Lab first.
    3. Experience. Make mistakes and learn from them.
    4. I prefer 2 Rails and 2 Hunters, but if you don't want to use tempests and their repair time, Heavy Flak would be the better anti-air turret.
    5. Old tech usually comes back around with patience. Common SF tech is in the gear store along with select limited time offers for rare unit specific tech like the rare ranged rounds and other Hailstorm tech in there this month. Old uniques like Viper X have bases that spawn on various Mondays, but they're usually not guaranteed. You just missed Sandstorm tech in the last few events so it's probably going to be a long wait to see them again.
    6. Liberators. Then probably Acolytes. Special Forces are still good with the right tech, since the new Faction units can't match their strategic capabilities with things like applying Corrosion and Shock. I'll be keeping a Lead Commando and Grenadier for those purposes, and will wait for upgrades to fit 2 Liberators in with them.
    7. I haven't purchased from an event yet, but it is especially useful and the only way to counter the stealth Maverick and Bullseye missiles you were asking about. The resources needed to utilize the weapons lab have been recently made easily available from abundant pve bases, so using the weapons lab is a lot more accessible now and all the more reason to build and upgrade it.

It's in the right and wrong section. This section is usually so dead that moderators don't even bother moving topics from General Discussion here that really belong here. Maybe that's why this section is so dead, lol. Battle Pirates moderators make you use the strategy discussion section, so it's not quite as dead as this section.
