after playing this game for over a year, I am discovering there are a lot of hotkey short cuts I didn't know about. I there a list of all the keyboard commands somewhere?
In sector/planet view: QWER are soft keys to whatever shows up bottom center of the screen. 1-7 select your fleets.
In battle: S stops your ship's current move order. Click and drag to select multiple ships in an area. Click then right-click to select additional ships.
Those are what I know of that aren't in the settings menu.

in battle
"A" select all own ships.
"Ctrl + number key" Group
"Shift + click to enemy ship" change main target
Pinning this thread. Just realized the importance of (space + right LEFT click) last night. Incredibly useful.
Edit: My bad. Use this method to select a particular fleet that's stacked on top of other fleets
Burning all your bridges means that sooner or later you're alone on an island, bereft of allies or means to get anywhere. Seek to build bridges in all things, treat even your opponents with respect. Crush them only when there is no other recourse and they hinder your movement forward.

space + left click drag and select, space + right click = just right click
Try it while clicking on enemy ships that are stacked on top of each other...
Edit: I stand corrected. My apologies for any unnecessary clicks. Thank you, Sonidojoo.

yeah just look up vega conflict hotkeys youll probably get loads of videos, tutorials, lists, and other stuff made by pros like me (NOT LOL)
his point is it is nowhere mentioned in game, which should. 90% doesnt know about lot of the hotkeys. i heard somepeople calling me out a bot once for selecting and returning ships so fast from sector into my base...
while all i do is select fleet (keys 1 til 7) and then repeatetly press ''e'' to return my fleets back home.

should be noted in game asap. improves gameplay.
This needs to be a part of the official guide. Scattering everything all, over the place without a system of retrieval is unfair Here this might help

Wish S worked for the selected fleet in other views. Maybe R could be return to base.
Look in game under settings

Center bridge is the return to base view button.
No way to jump from fleet manager to base view unless you opened fleet manager from base view.
