That kind of "splitting the difference" sounds more feasible because it would seem like a "good idea" but would guarantee more repairs...perhaps we shouldn't ask for things like this lest we find ourselves looking into the face of the "evil genie"

i recon they both start in a circle. starting clockwise from 12 o clock:

red - blue -red - blue -red - blue -red - blue -red - blue -red - blue

will engage ackward situations
