Demon Corp Corvettes!! Oh wait...watch those be Swarm Corvettes Vega was using yet secretly reporting to the Demon Corp.
If reintroducing Corvettes it might end up being a Flagship type. Limited use based on Captain permits and competes with Javelins in what Alliances can release at any given time. Or a undervalued ship class which when marked up gives resistance to weapons (mk1 5%, mk2 10%) even without resistors added.
Or it was an oversight by the dev team in picking the weakest ships in the game to be on a form and my dreams are crushed once again.
Rick: Uh...Nobody's perfect, Commander.
Roy: You haven't changed a bit, have you? Well, this isn't your dad's amateur flying circus. My men are real pilots.
Rick: I'm gonna have to make you eat those words, Commander. Coming in.
It was stated that these events are from two years ago, and since we rarely see the swarm corvette, my theory is that the swarm corvette is an old military ship (Demon Corp) that VEGA procured in limited quantities when the Demon Corp was getting rid of old surplus equipment.
Mk6?! A sign of things to come? For god's sake, Kix, do something about the core strongboxes and abysmal drop rates before introducing a Mk6.
guys the drop rates are working as intended, kixeye coded them that way for a reason, most likely the coin market. We'd all love a change, but simple facts remain
regular crafting fleets drop with highest chance... -nothing - armaments - parts box
lowest chance - patterns highest to lowest -core you have highest chance to get the lowest quality core
-supply runs cores are weighted to drop more than patterns, again same rule applies you have highest chance of getting the lowest core drop fr9m that tier
its all math and kixeye coded all the math asking them to fix it wont do anything sadly as again they made it that way
I think Junren-JS got a prize. I must didn't notice there was no 1-5:? If he didn't show us an arrangement.
lol thanks, but I wouldn't have come close. Congratulations to Luiqi and Andrea though! Great work!
Burning all your bridges means that sooner or later you're alone on an island, bereft of allies or means to get anywhere. Seek to build bridges in all things, treat even your opponents with respect. Crush them only when there is no other recourse and they hinder your movement forward.
Did any notice they had corvettes in the deployed fleet box?
DC corvette coming ??????????? Surly not.
Yeah, really. I saw they had "Cruisers" and "Corvettes" checked and immediately thought "NOOOOB".
But what I really liked was the "ACCIDENT CLASSIFICATION" box, with the "25%", "Bridge", and "100%' boxes checked because of the implication that all the pretty colors and sounds we see on our screens are actually just some way more exciting HUD displaying what some bureaucrat marked down on some official form somewhere.
Well done Luiqi and Andrea. I'll contact you when I get into the office tomorrow and you can collect your prize.
I was worried you guys would never get it. I think I've found the right level of difficulty.
NOOOOOOO.... I loved the crazy complexity puzzles 2-4 had. It was both super impressive that you had come up with such devilishly hard puzzles with so many layers to them, and incredibly fascinating to watch the community work as some sort of unified hivemind to solve them all. I mean, I never quite got the timing down to actually catch one of these things before someone solved it, but, at least from an outsider's perspective, the prize seemed like an afterthought in comparison to the challenge, to the journey those previous puzzles were. Please, don't try to aim for the middle- I find that when one aims for the middle, they usually miss and hit the bottom 25%. Not everyone will understand every part- hell, no one will, but they'll contribute when they can- A great example of this is during one of the previous puzzles, when everyone was stumped, until some random dude who knew Japanese came in and told us that what we were looking at was a Japanese word for something. So, please, keep your puzzles hard. That's what makes them fun.
You never cease to amaze and disgust in the same breathe, Craig. -- [G➃AT]ASTROBOT
a lvl 6 arms lab even IF we got it, big deal does anyone use ANYTHING out of it,except when you first start? maybe more high tech weapons for people and their lvl 34 fleets...rofl that'd be it

Uh, yall know that the arms lab goes up to level 10, right? You may have gotten that confused with the Bridge (max level 5).

A level 3 bridge can build a level 6 arms lab. That's hardly a prize.
Winners get 1000 coins and their choice of one, blank ISC hull.

Thanks LXC
Yes I think is the right level of difficulty and does not require sophisticated software tools.

Do we able to know what happened last year's November 10th? I think now is AV53 and last year is AV52. This might be a huge evidence.
And... Seems like VEGA base got 3 stars by accident(not sure it is an accident.). Maybe it'll be very easy if we got FvB event lol
He also got 3 stars (green box)!
Meh... look at the yellow boxes. Probably a level 6 arms lab haha.

Also check the orange box. So the Demon Corps have their own corvettes?

I think AV52 is 2014 on reality. Maybe on 2014, there could be no cutter.
There's no specific things on AV52(thinking that is 2014) at forum. Maybe the date is meaning nothing.
