Greetings Captains!
This week includes the addition of new Armada targets, some Alliance improvements, and the ability to position Base Defense Fleets in the Base Planner.
New Armada targets
We will be adding two new targets to Sector Threat: Yellow. This includes a level 30 and a level 45 Armada. We’ve also retuned the level 60 Armada to better represent a target within this new level spread. We are considering level-locking the level 30 target for players level 50 or lower. Currently, they are available for all players to attack. We will be monitoring the performance of this target and I will announce if this change occurs later down the line.
We have level-locked the level 30 armada for lower level players only. Thank you for your feedback.Alliance Improvements
Alliance Leaders may now assign the role of Lieutenant to Alliance members of their choice. Lieutenants have all permissions of an Alliance Leader (e.g., Accept Invite, Kick Player) except for designating the Leader and Lieutenant role. There is no limit to the number of Lieutenants you can assign.
We have removed the existing level buckets and promotion mechanics of Alliances. Instead, new Alliance members are placed into the Scavengers group. Leaders and Lieutenants may assign members to any bonus role available.
BDF Base Planner
Players may now place a Base Defense Fleet in their base using the Base Planner. This should help to integrate a defense fleet into your base’s overall design.
Bug fixes & tuning
Corrected an issue where players at the edge of the world map, at the border between sector 0 and 1, might not see the Sector Threat HUD element.
Corrected an issue where players at the edge of the world map, at the border between sector 0 and 1, might not see the Draconian Uranium Base Attack Plan popup.
Removed the Retrofit 'Upgrade' button from the blueprint stats popup that can be accessed from the 'Campaign Complete' popup.
Made adjustments that should prevent a case where players were not correctly being granted the associated Ship Skins for older hull Retrofits.
Fixed a bug that made it possible to move a base guarding fleet away from the base it was marked as defending on the world map.
World Map Repair will now be available for fleets that have taken no damage directly, but have depleted Drone capacity.
Tweaked the appearance of the black bounding box around the combat area to more clearly indicate that this is in fact the functional border of the combat area.
Changed the number of Mastery campaigns needed to complete related R&D Objectives from 5 to 1.
