**** shame we will never see Executioners on a raid again...for the past year it's been all about left click win hulls!!!! And how about bringing Blades to a raid also so that the ones that have a hard time on FM can possibly get a chance at them!!!!

better fix a lot in the game than march on with loads of new things. Make fixing the main target for 2016 Kix and not ongoing dropping of new things !

Doom is there any chance we can get a preview of the new weapon(not art and fuction but type)? I do know with the last raid you were able to tell us it was a new uav/ carrier and while I do understand its a few weeks away I was just hoping to know the type such as mort or rocket. It would seem to me,with the new weapons we are due for a new mort or rocket but was hoping for a sneak peek to find out if I should pen in a little extra time off.

Railgun D-110:  Draconian line-of-damage ballistic weapon that fires at medium range, deals moderate damage, and has nearly instant projectile speed. Think of it as a Draconian Arbalest.

Punisher hull: Draconian Ballistic hull with boosts to Ballistic dmg and RANGE

PLEASE boost range on WEAPON, not on the hull.
This way, at least, we will have some small chance to use our old hulls like SCX, Crusader, Templar

The whole point is to get you to coin BOTH the Weapon & the Hull to get the optimum effectiveness.

Anyway SCX, Crusader also have range boosts - especially when you've coined the retrofits.

Battle Pirates is like on-line betting, if the fun stops they tell you spending more money will cheer you up a bit....

Can we get some base defensive Weapons put in that prize list? Esp Apoc Morts. Thanks

Can we get some new base weapons that actually do some damage to the attacking ships as currently the fleets are just sailing straight into bases as though they had no defence.

Fine. We can split hairs. My hair is correct. Your hair is not.
Don't you understand that people already feel you are flippant, argumentative and if I'm honest, not with a great grasp of the game?

Then we get that type of statement.
If you untwist those panties a little, you'll find that statement was actually pretty funny.
Sorry Bort, I agree with you on a lot more things than you can imagine, but Robot  Rooster is supposed to be the face of the company, not a spoiled child.

Note: I did not mention any of the mods names.... but I believe one or two have it covered.

Kixeye is the only gaming company I know of that blames players for misunderstandings, lets players pay real money for an item then nerfs it to the point that its no longer like it was sold. And i some cases (a few base weapons ) it never worked from the get go. Then only offers to fix things that are not broke and by doing so break more stuff in the game. I have been trying to think of one ship or update that went right the 1 st time. Player base is slipping away while Kixeye acts like all is good the coin repair graph was funny at best but misleading would be a better choice of words.
The best joke of Kixeye is also known:
"First, I want to make it clear that our users are the lifeblood of this game. Your happiness is our primary objective and everything that we do to improve the game is aimed at increasing it." Will Harbin. CEO, Kixeye.
well if his words would be true than they have tonns of work to do in 2016 but seen the history there is no hope on changes in the direction of those words.

The confusion was the phrase "exactly the same set up".

    identical

    [ahy-den-ti-kuh l, ih-den-]

    adjective
    1.  similar or alike in every way:
The two cars are identical except for their license plates.

    2.  being the very same; selfsame:
This is the identical room we stayed in last year.

    3.  agreeing exactly:
    identical opinions.

But like Slick **** in the video above any lawyer, can argue over semantics.  It's just the arrogance that comes with those arguments that shifts player attitudes to a place beyond reproach.

Probably will be Scourge.  We had 2 extra months to build for them so don't be shocked when/if they show up.
^^^ This... revenge raids were a throwback because so many people had a fit about the Scourge.  So now, we've had half a year to build for them (we knew they were coming back, and they never really left).  So much new tech, a rebalancing, ect.   People will still complain, but they're not gamers.
Sarcasm and negativity are cheap and mindless, what we say is a reflection of our character.  What do YOU want to say about your character?

all i can say is this

    no it's more like this:

May I just say Politicians use that method to communicate, so do some people in upper management. Similar is much more accurate. We have changed them/made changes to them, is bang on the money.

Implying that they have not changed, and make no mistake it was worded this way, is not splitting hairs.

It's one the reasons a guy like Trump is a poll leader in your country.

People are fed up with trying to figure out what side of their face representatives are speaking out of.No matter how big a clown he is, at least speaks his views...clearly!

That's not splitting hairs........Honest open & straightforward communication is key. Politico speak just primes the torch & pitchfork crowd....for good reason.
They're calling in Greenpeace...to save the vanishing whales. Greenpeace showed up, looked around, shook their heads sadly, and said it's hopeless....

RR3 isnt going to be fun anyhows....Kixeye will assume everyone has a fleet of UAV bombers and will adjust the targets for that.....so those of us who dont have them will struggle or outright quit.  Power Creep at it's worst
it would help if the uav bombers worked worth half a **** instead of doing no damage every other hit.

    Howdy,

Revenge Raid III will start January 14th. It will feature the same format as the previous raids, with some changes:

A-set will be 3 targets, same as last time. Sorry folks, for any confusion.

B & C-set targets will have layout changes, but difficulty is intended to stay the same as previous (read as: "recent") Revenge Raids.

The boss target is the Draconian Mega-Hull, with some changes. The Mega-Hull is now equipped with a Mega-weapon that has a cooldown timer that counts down before it fires. The Mega is surrounded by support ships (like last time) but also by defense platforms that have priority buildings. If you destroy the Power Structures, it adds time to the cooldown bar, meaning the Mega-Hull fires less frequently. Destroying the buildings and slowing the fire rate of the Mega-Weapon is a good thing: it hits very, very hard.

No tokens available so far as I can see. This may change as we get closer to the event, but nothing planned as of yet. Sorry.

No news on prizes or new prizes as of yet. Stay tuned, true believers!

DR, You guys do realize that there is another up-and-coming game out and is actively being enjoyed by a lot of BP players right?  By a lot I mean thousands (yes with an 's')

Fix the points to prize price ratio on the A sets please, I really don't want to have to grind out another few hundred of the same **** targets again. BTW, since you didn't get the memo, mega hulls aren't fun. When you say "hits very, very hard," I'm assuming anyone that hasn't coined a fleet of drac carriers with their 450 deflection should prolly sit them out and those of us that told you to shove them somewhere last raid should prolly not even peek into one. No changes to the difficulty of B & C targets for our little pirates as well... All of these things you typed, to the seasoned pirates mean the same thing: Punishing! Another lost memo. The only ones that enjoy punishing targets aren't using their own coin, or have way too much.

Tokens. Well, tokens put at least a drop in the bucket toward the broken build economy, and give us a fighting chance to keep up with the players that keep gaining and then losing that special banner under their base (On a side note, any way the friends for whom they endlessly prep targets for can get their toys taken away too? No, I can't find an equitable solution for that one either).

Time to get rid of your Beverly Hills pricing boys. The competition is going to chew you up if you don't do more than throw a damage inducing lvl 100 elite salvage at the Uranium debacle and do some serious soul searching on build times and show some significant changes soon. As fast as that other place is having to add servers etc, they might be hiring soon though  ;)
saying this other game doesn't mean much to anyone, you just sound too upset to come up with something better to say. besides, I love battle pirates and no matter how much many players say they hate the game, they say they are gonna go to this other game... you are still playing this game anyways. also they understand that they will not be the only game their players will be playing. It is not like people who play video games only play one game, THEIR GOAL is to make their players enjoy their experience. Love/like/appreciate their work/effort to make a great game.
Their idea of the "mega hull" is actually kind of cool, they are to be beaten by the strongest of targets, you don't have to fight it if you don't want to I only fought it three times last raid. Honestly though this last raid was hard, but it didn't have to be a mega grind. You just have to pick and chose your prizes for what you are going to need, you don't need every single hull in the game, to beat the raids. You just have to figure out what works for your strategy the best (I personally like to stick with missiles and keeping as much distance as possible.) the last raid cost me roughly $30 dollars for just 40 million points, but that is because I do not have a fleet of subs yet, it isn't that hard you just have to be patient with your targets. If you are trying to mega grind you are most likely trying to do the raid for free, and get some top tier prizes, personally I do not recommend beating yourself up over a top tier prize you will not be using. ONLY pick up prizes you will be building, otherwise don't complain.
Build times- build times are actually not terrible, they could be a bit better, but they are not as bad as what players like you make them out to be, once again this comes back to picking up what you need, not what you want. players who make it through the elite tier in the forsaken mission get significantly lower build times due to them EARNING a faster build time, yes build times could be better, but you should earn them, It does not cost money nor does it take a lot of time (depending how it is done) with a good strategy (which this game is based off of) you should be able to do these things. When you have a game plan the game is a lot more fun.
Uranium complaint- Once again strategy and picking up what you need is also important. Spend Uranium on what you need, not what you want, for example retrofitting a ship you will never use again (seen to many players do this, it is a bad idea) Forsaken missions give uranium, armadas give uranium, Drac bases give uranium, and elite cargo fleets give a little uranium. ( I will not mention the Uranium drac base due to it being extremely unlikely to beat, here is a link to prove it)
They have also stated that the level 100 cargo will not be their only solution.
Moving on though, to the new and awesome objective system, mostly for the players who have already spent their uranium on things they needed and have some extra uranium to spare. I don't think that kixeye intends for players to beat themselves up and do retrofits they need at the same time as the objectives, (you can though, but I wouldn't recommend it). They give you the option for a reason is what I am trying to say. Meant more for the players that want to get ahead as fast as possible.
Last thing for the little players- You can catch up it is going to take time, LIKE ANY GAME that has been out for at least two years, there will be a lot of content that had come out by that two year mark. It is still possible to catch up, I have seen many players with great strategies (mostly with subs) grow to some huge players, within just a few months.
Maybe after some soul searching and looking at how to earn your faster build times, you can come back to enjoying battle pirates        ;)

Wow, you must not play nor coin often, yet your start date says you've been playing for a cpl years. I agree we all play multiple games, and I too loved BP, for a couple of years it was my favorite. It used to get all of my coin, now it gets none, at least until it brings back the fun. Glad you like the mega hull, I killed a few of them myself, and would have killed a lot of them if the point to damage metric wasn't so skewed. The last raid wasn't hard, it was a grind. I got 141 million, for about 150 coin, so I think my strategy worked much better than yours, not as well as some others, but I don't profess to be the best. Those points earned were all conscious choices to get the new tech (to not fall behind) and a couple of limited flagships one of which is building now, a 28 day build. You should really not assume you are smarter or a better strategist than others. Your unsolicited and unasked for advice comes off as condescending. Nothing you posted here is unknown to any but a noob.

Build times are insane (weeks here vs. days there) in comparison to any other game I have tried and continually getting worse. The fleet I start next is a 123 day build, how do you suggest a "player like me" should "make that out to be" other than RETARDED when other games a top end "fleet" is 25-50ish days depending on the game?

Glad they stated the 100 elite isn't their only solution, but I'm not going to rehash your unsolicited advice on what I retro or research, or how many crews I roll for. Suffice it to say I have a lot of non-retroed components and hulls as I have no plans to use them.

I agree, the tokens are earned, and I will earn 6-10 days of builds this week through the FM. Due to the removal of the drac attack TLC and the apparent removal of the tokens from the raids, 6-10 days of tokens is all that can be earned between most raids (12-20 for this raid cycle) now. It used to be 14-28 days and you still call that significant? So, how do I "earn your faster build times" if I already earn every possible token in the game and have since their inception? Build crap ships?

Keep drinking kix's kool-aid and throwing your coin at a sinking ship. I was giving them fair warning to come back to the fun game they used to be before we're all gone. Don't worry though, I'm sure they'll come out with a level 150 elite or something similar when you are all alone in your sector trying to get the Uranium gimmick to yellow.

Well put! Could you please send me a PM with the new game, I am anxious to try something new where I don't have to wait 100+ days for a fleet.

That was how it was, before accounting took over the day to day operations, of the company. Now it's all about coin incomes

Why is it if the build times are an issue that they are allegedly not offering build tokens for this raid?  That would make it the 2nd in a row.  Trading damage for build time is a win win.

I'm hoping for more limited Specials because I'm running out of those components.

Not to say that I prefer the new limited method but it's probably here to stay...
I am not a fan of limited prints outside of hulls and base weapons. Limited ship components was a bad idea IMO and I really don't like them. However I love the ones we have, just wish we had more. I think the current intention with them is to offer them as side prizes in raids, similar to tokens. Obviously there weren't any in the December raid since those are historically hull raids.
Ya, I'm not a fan of the concept either for ship components as it seemed like a way to stretch out the rewards earned by players.

If they are side prizes, I hope that they will maintain the proper balance given that they are "limited".

that and not grow to an unreasonable amount of points for them

1st raid they were in d6-a was 750k 2nd one they were in d6-a was 1.25 mill and same went for all the others they all had a major increase in the point value to redeem them was kinda retarded as u r gonna need more then one of them if u r looking to redeem them

any info on how much the new hull or weapon will cost?
Going by previous experience of raid pricing, the hull price will be most likely be somewhere between 10 - 15m.

The weapon price is most likely 5 - 7.5m. Total around 20 - 21m. The other question is how long it will take someone to earn that 21m.

If you have the right tools, you should get the 21m. If you haven't got the right stuff built, well...
Hulls won: Corvette, Frigate, Destroyer X, BBA, LC, LCX, BC, BCX, HHA, HHB, Rampart, Mercury, Spec, Vindicator, FFA, SSA, LeviA, Sawfish, Destroyer, BS, SFF, Triton, Reaper, Cuda.

    Hi Trogar.
I know it's early days yet, but can we get a hint on the makeup of RR3. Now we were told by Doom that there would not be a video
for RR2 and it would be virtually unchanged from RR. This turned out to be not quite true. Noting the fact that Jan 14 is the date, this gives players plenty of time to prepare fleets. I think it's great that the 14th is confirmed date.

    Cheers.

    Howdy,

Revenge Raid III will start January 14th. It will feature the same format as the previous raids, with some changes:

The A-set will be made up of 5 targets (instead of 3) in order to spread the difficulty out a little more so each target is not as punishing as previous raids.

So lower level players are getting screwed over yet again. Why not just stop all new accounts so they don't get their hopes up on even thinking about trying to win anything?

Yea whatever happened to ALL the sets having a bonus for completing??????????????????
