Lets face it, they are shafting us at every opportunity, adding 4 elite tier prizes means it takes two week to them, one week of tokens thenthe 4th week another raid after which they will add another 4 prizes, so you'll only get one weeks worth of fm tokens, they say chores are optional they are only optional if you dont want to ATLEAST try to keep up not i say try!.
i agree with ya bud, and this "you dont have to do it" quote sounds like a 5 year old who cant think of something intelligent to say, surely you should not be trying to piss people off with dumb stuff, i feel another ban coming
you keep whining like me but we are still here, i love broken pixels, how about you
lol i cant even do weekly now there a very few strongholds in my sector under 75 and 85 .... im not chasing all over sectors i fight in for them its ridiculous
lots of folks no longer do FM, its hard to even find players logging in and playing a lot of the time now, BUT KIX knows best, heck they wouldnt keep doing stuff to deliberately kill the game and lose their jobs ......WOULD THEY?
I thought that I had seen the worst KIX could possibly produce - until I saw what the requirements for the "oh so nice and easy research" goals are.
At level 4, you need to kill a draconian level 120 base.
Thanks for proving that you've spent your 3 months (in witch to bring at least SOME player confidence back) with carefully planning how you can screw your last remaining players over.
On the other hand, you have done absolutly the opposite as you said you would - chores are at a higher level than ever (releasing 4 items in elite tier pr. month is madness!), you have to hit drac fleets 24/7 to keep urainum from beeing a resourse, and this new R&D objectives have requirements that are utterly insane.
Kix still do as usual, steal, lie, cheat (drac co-axial turret was a blatant robbery) and quite frankly, I havent ever seen any game company ever treat their players like garbage like KIX - or did I? Oh yea, Zynga.
No wonder...
thats for hackers only , they are the only ones they cater to unfortunately
Remember it was this time last year that we got the usual FM drop, and then Christmas we got even more items dropped into the weekly without removing the ones earlier in the month.
I remember it clearly as I was all caught up and took 2 weeks for vacation. Came back to being behind and forever behind until they increased it to twice a week.

Level 4 is just a normal Drac Base like the kind we've had for a long time. It's not the new ones. Really easy.
Well once again we receive another
load of verbal diarrhea from Kixeye. Saying they are trying to reduce build
and repair costs. If you want to reduce them you wouldn’t be trying to use
gimmick. Load of bullshit. Cost of building and repairing ships has gone up and
up. Everything new thing they bring in or introduce has a money angle. This armada and objectives would be too bad if
you could actually get enough 60s and 75s. Recently they have been nonexistent.
If you want hit two or three 75s you better buy some gold. The bar in my sector
had never been in orange. Sending out three or four fleets just to get yellow
section.. save you bullshit for dumb fookers on here on believe your crap. You
are killing this game cause you are greedy fookers chasing the dollar. I can’t
even be bothered to put forward well structure post. Cause it’s pointless you don’t
listen
Yeah many people in the game don't go to the forums, but of those that do less than 5% are new players. Just under 10% are players that joined within a year or two. Maybe you guys should start listening to the people here that have played for a long time since they are your loyal customers. If you did I am sure many of us would actually promote this game to others and help your numbers in the long run.
You will only receive my scorn from this point forward

Well said Maybe the company would benefit by being promoted by their customers right across the board, I did used to promote the game a hell of a lot in the early years.
If you ask me this "update" is for the high players. I don't know how you think the new starting players will use this. i have a lot of friends that don't play with me because of the insane build and construction time good job..............
After reading the state of the game post, I was hoping we'd see positive changes. Instead repair and build times have been barely dented and we get massive pt requirement raids and more chores, they aren't listening and nothings changing. Repair times needed to be massively reduced but what we got shows how little they'll change.
i feel like a sheep being lead to slaughter on all raids. the targets have me outnumbered a dozen to one. and my fleets barely can kill one of their ships on a good day. so i don't commit suicide in the raid targets. i do however manage to use a zombie fleet to gain a kill here and there but at the rate i make progress, i'll need five more lifespans to kill a 85 outpost. and 50 million points goal is insane.someone at kix has a bad case of extracranialinjection.
The thing kixeye has trouble with is; greed adjective , having or showing an intense and selfish desire for something, its MONEY. They have become use to people spending $200 to $400 a week on this game and they are not doing it anymore. Kix is doing what they think will bring back all the big coiners that have gone somewhere else by telling us they are going to fix it. ROTFL. Kix has to many raids to many new hulls and weapons and to keep up with the game you have to spend real money after the raid (coin the build to keep up with the new and better fleets and weapons). Kixeye took the tokens away in last raid and that was where I was able to cut some of my ship build times with the tokens. They are still selling old out-of-date hulls that don't work anymore, There will never be a fix for GREED except more money. When you finely see this you will join the thousands that have already gone.
mel i agree. Everything they did pre hellstrike seem like something to improve the game. Everything post hellstrike comes a crossed as a way to work more money out of us.
Kix has continually screwed the non-coiners and low coiners, every "fix" they do is release new hulls and weapons that only BIG coiners can get. Meanwhile, base defense remains a joke. They make the raid targets and campaign targets harder and harder to match the new toys they put out, they fail to realize that not everyone has the new tech. Kix has never listened to us, at least not in the three years that I've been playing. I coin what I can afford ( it's not much ) but Kix focuses on the Big coiners and gives them more toys to pay for. That won't last long as more and more players leave, soon there won't be many players left. Fix the power gap don't just keep putting out new offense stuff, make the FM's and Raids less of a chore bring the fun back to the game and the player base will grow, as well as your profit.
mel i agree. Everything they did pre hellstrike seem like something to improve the game. Everything post hellstrike comes a crossed as a way to work more money out of us.
Exactly right mate. The Hellstrike was the first 'point and click' hull Kixeye came out with. The Dec 2013 raid was also fairly easily done with any ballistic fleet and a disrupter arb, so many got the hull. I'd never seen so many new fleets coined before, not even the DNX when it came out, Kixeye made a bundle out of it. Since then it's been one point and click hull after another. Kixeye hoping that the trend continues. judging by the amount of Drac carriers I see, it's working.
That's also when base defence in BP became tougher and tougher to the point where most don't bother. Kixeye don;t care, there is little profit in base defence. That's why they nerfed the drac coaxial as well. In the lastes Glasshouse review on Kixeye an ex employee had this to say.
"Rushed timeframes....resulting in sloppy work.No direction on what is future based off current projects.Cut throat and borderline hostile environment.Changes made on the fly to benefit company and not customers.Staff lvl very low and carrying to much weight."
Notice the words "changes made to benefit company and not customers"? The last 3 months has been gimmicks, smokescreens, lies and bullshit. I'd rather trust a rattlesnake on meth than anything Kixeye says anymore.
Not enough Drac Armada fleets spawn when sector gets to yellow. And whatever happened to the Uranium mini campaign that was supposed to be available once every 3 weeks?
Speaking of people who don't come to the forums, the log-in bug was a perfect example. There were a lot of players who couldn't log in, so they came to post in the forum for the first time or one of the first few times. All they wanted was to be able to log in. They were told it was their computer despite details that made it clear it was on Kixeye's end. Kixeye fixed it without notification, apology or compensation despite days to several weeks of handicapping these players. They didn't even get a post on the forum detailing the fix. Most of them took their fix and vanished from the forums simply happy they got what they wanted ... to play. Someone should go over to Kixeye and tell them what customer service is and why it's important ... as well as how to go about it.
so no nerfing weapons, yet launcher 92U with gauss supercharge at r6 can't get an explosion... As a non base attack clan, the weekly raids are pretty much over for us... thanks a lot...
Yeah they Nerfed the armada spawn rate big time for some reason.
It was either a mistake or they want us to hit Armada 75's which only a few can do without massive repairs. I am guessing a bit of both maybe
I'd guess it's that they want us to hit more 75s and it's being passed off as a mistake. Kinda like the whole Drac Coax thing. They didn't want their new carrier to be castrated immediately, so they adjusted the description to fit the turret rather than adjusting the turret to fit the description like they were originally going to.
I'm starting to understand Magic Bunny's perspective...

I'm sure there will be "sincere" apology Monday. LOL
Below is a response from a ticket sent in to Kixeye explaining the slow armada spawning... To sum it up, If you haven't seen orange as yet, you need to move to some place that has! They have no intent on "fixing" it for the masses, it "works" only for the most "active" sectors. "Working as intended"...:

Hi ####,
Thank you for writing in about this, I understand the Sector Threat mechanics have been frustrating in your sector. Armadas will not spawn constantly while the bar is yellow— there is a delay between batches. The game team has been keeping an eye on the spawns and have confirmed that they are working as intended, so your honest feedback about their frequency and the length of time between spawns is helpful to hear.
Sector Threat is intended to be a community effort, and Armada spawn numbers are tied to the number of players who are active in a sector (have logged in recently) compared to how many players are in a sector overall. For example, let’s say Sector A has 500 people in it, 5 of whom are considered active. Sector B has 100 people in it, 10 of whom are considered active. Sector B is going to have a much easier time with Armada spawns, and therefore with maintaining a Yellow threat level, than Sector A.
I’ve shared your negative experience with these mechanics with them for their consideration, and if there are other issues I can assist you with please let me know. In the meantime I hope this information helps and have a great day at sea!

LOL! They are trying to do the same like that whats happening in europe!
They are forcing us to move into other sectors!
We have got draconian carrier like a navy from the real world, so i guess, the next new enemy in the raids will have a red star on his ships...but that would only be coincidental...

smoke an mirrors looks like do dealing with the fact that ppl are still dropping and just point in were the active sectors is not the answer drop builds and repair times and watch ppl come back EPIC MISS KIXEYE
UNTIL you can repair MULTIPLE ships / fleets at the same time, the game is not worth spending much Time or Money on to play. I can have 6 Fleets - which take 80+ hours to repair, yet have 30 - 90 minutes play time in a day. 90 minutes of game time every 3-4 days isn't worth coming back to play the game. To top it off, NOW I need to get 100's of thousands of Uranium to do Upgrades / bonuses yet chances to get Uranium are very slim. As stated above armadas will spawn in sectors where there are many active players, YET those limited Armadas are sought by many players, and so Uranium chances are slim.
The Game is FLAWED - especially for those with Limited Weapons and limited hulls
In a previous post, I wrote this...."go to Forums home and have a look at the state of Kixeye games in general.
Have a read of the War Commander and Vega forums. it's like a mirror image of this forum, lots
of unhappy players. The one difference is the new mobile app, WC Rogue assault, which appears to
be positive in its early stages. Kixeye will be hoping that WCRA takes off big time in the mobile app arena
as new players of that app, may have a look at the desktop version. Kixeye haven't had a new hit game in years.
If WCRA is a big hit, it is on the cards that one under performing Flash game will be pulled. With War commander
possibly benefiting the mobile version, that won't be touched. That leaves two games, Vega and Battle Pirates.
Which one can a mobile version be made of? Either way, my opinion is in the near future Vega or BP will no longer be supported
and be led to die slowly like BYM was. Now Vega was rewritten from flash to unity code. BP was not. Think about it. "
Here's another thing to consider fellow pirates.
Kixeye has only 3 games left. 2 of them have "State of the game" threads. BP and Vega. War Commander has always had the most players and coiners and as such does not have a "State of the game" thread by a lead developer. BP and Vega are struggling to keep players, let alone gain new ones.
I'm starting to wonder the real reason for a "State of the game" thread.
