First of all, this info is awesome, thank you, look forward to getting more info like this over time. The only question i have, is the info on Kara accurate, i could be mistaken but it looks like there might have been a typo maybe....
KARA
Damage Per Round: 25,750
Clip Size: 3
Fire Rate: 4 / Second
Reload: 2 Seconds
based on the info for the rest of the hero units, it seems like her damage Per Round is a lot higher the it should be.... could you confirm if her info is correct or was it a possible typo.
@Wrongthinker I have experienced some problems about the understanding of Bloodlust. I think that this must be clarified, because this affects the reload speed, and thus, the damage output
You are correct. I had overlooked this in my original data dive. I will update the post with the additional information.

I believe (outside of my omission above) the information is correct. Kara hits like a truck. However, keep in mind she fires at a slower rate of fire AND has a very long reload time compared to those other heroes. So, for Bro J, he is firing at a constant rate without down time, but Kara needs to pause for two seconds after her 3 shots are fired. So, her average DPS is about the same as Bro Js (until she starts stacking Bloodlust, then it gets much higher).

So when brother and preserver stand together, preserver actually have more armor than brother?
I believe that is correct, but I will have to confirm on Monday. Keep in mind Bro J still has a TON more health.
Do you think Bro J required xp is ok? Just a question is there a specific reasoning he needs like 800 million xp? I don't think his buff is really worth that much xp, but then again it doesn't get better as he levels up so even at level 1 he can be useful I guess.

Though I can't promise any changes, I do feel the Preserver's VXP curves (including Bro J) are on the long side. That said, Preserver armor is pretty darn good when paired with Bro J's buff. It can actually negate damage from some units completely!

That's why I'm not using Brother Jeremiah...the 800 million is a Huge turn off ( I don't care about his buff...I just wanted to max him out fast, but can't with that BS XP). --Same with the preservers...I only have 4 preservers at rank 19 and almost rank 20 finally (the preservers are nice, but they are also a huge turn off with the amount of the XP they need...so I scraped the extra preservers since I don't want to deal with them too much).
It would be nice to have all Rank units to have XP like warhorse, nightmare, operators, heavy operators, etc...the only thing you are getting is HP and damage and sometimes range (also think about that your only ranking 1 unit at a time...so with a **** load of XP for 1 unit it would take forever for you to rank them up or you have to give up on that one).

i really dont know why people are complaining about the upgrade "cost" of BJ and the preservers. Just use them and they will upgrade, what s the problem? I have BJ at the max level and it didnt cost me oil/metal or thorium. In my opinion BJ is much better then sheila or kara and if a unit is so much better it is logical that it takes more time to reach the max level

I can play with BJ...I like the Preservers more then Brother Jeremiah, but hate the XP needed.
I use my sheila and Kara a lot...while I gave up on my brother jeremiah (I don't give a **** about his buff). --The way I see it...when we are ranking up Brother Jeremiah...we are only getting more HP, more Damage on him, and not making his buff any better since it like that at rank 1 to rank 20 (I'll keep my BJ at rank 9 for a while).
Hey WrongThinker, had some questions about the Archangel and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me with these because I'm having a tough time finding these answers.
First, the Archangel and Spectre are listed in the tech center as dealing "Damage: X", not "Damage: X DPS". They share this characteristic with bombers like the Phantom, Kondor, and Raptors. With this in mind, is that saying that each shot from an Archangel does that huge amount of damage? Or is it a display oddity and it's actually telling us DPS?
Second, what effect does increasing fire rate as opposed to reload speed have on DPS over time? For a while it's been said on the forums that raising reload speed increases DPS because it doesn't change damage per round while raising fire rate lowers damage per round while firing faster to keep DPS the same. Is this correct?

Ok BJ is last chance right why is the dark hell it is still over 700K???????? Drop the price alittle please!!!!!!!
One thing that I'm confusing: Does the Brother Jeremiah's Armor Buff also apply to Preservers as well? Thus increase Preservers' Armor to 200, or at least more than their own Armor 100?

Yes. This made normal preserver's armor better than BroJ
YOU WILL NEVER GET ME!

I can confirm this is accurate. Preservers with the Bro J buff have 200 armor and Bro J inherently has only 100 (and does not benefit from his own buff). Bro J makes up for it with his massive health, but if you can take him out, his fellow Preservers become much more vulnerable.

To your first question, I will need to investigate that, don't have an immediate answer.
To your second question, both technically affect DPS. DPS is sort of a weird metric because it's variable based on the amount of time measured, but the most consistent when measured by a unit's full firing loop.
A firing loop consists of the time to empty a clip plus the time to load a new one. Imagine that something fires 3 rounds a second and takes 1 second to reload. That's a 2 second loop: 1 bullet at time 0, 1 at 0.5 seconds, 1 at 1 second and then a 1 second delay before it begins again.
Now, let's say each bullet does 1,000 damage. That means it does a total of 3,000 damage over its 2 second loop. To get the damage over a single second, we simply divide the damage by the lengthy of the loop. In this case, that's 3,000 divided by 2, which is 1,500. So, in this example, 1,500 is our DPS.
If we increase reload speed or firing speed (rate), the loop time will decrease, which will increase the the DPS. Feel free to run some math to see how it works out.
Thank you two. And I have just remember one thing I want to ask:
In Special Force fireteam, do the members' speed slow the whole team down? For Example, the Lead Operator have the speed of 1.5, and the Heavy Operator have the speed of 1.3. If I put the Lead Operator as the Lead and Heavies as the Member, thus what is the fireteam's speed? 1.3 or 1.5?
I need to understand what is going on with the shadow operations event since it disappeared completely from event option today 9/24/2015. i had a less than a couple one thousand points until gaining Sarkis part. if it does come back i hope to not have missed my chance to finish that phase of the event because of this nightfall event. thank you if you understand my concerns. hope to get some information back to me about this matter.

first of all this is the wrong thread for this as it is off topic from the original post. But to answer your question, now that the event has started in some sectors this weeks Shadow Ops has ended and there is nothing more you can do until after the event when the new Shadow Ops phase starts, and if i remember correctly the next shadow ops will be the last one you can win Sarkis from.

Hello, I really want to know the splash radius of titan! So the splash stats is radius not splash diameter right?
I will have to look into both of these. The titan I have no idea on, but I think the Splash stats are radius.
More just fantastic information.
The Firing Loop thing is just the kind of insight that I love. - This is my favorite thread EVER.
I will at some point go thru this thread Post by Post and pull all useful info out and add it to the appropriate pages on the wiki. Till then at least all this info is in 1 thread - not a bad storage method.
I just need to find the time, as of now I'm still trying to catch things up while still doing my best to get in a little event play.
bump.., this is getting lost way down in the forum pages..., but is very useful info....., can a mod either sticky it, or move it over to the forum PLAYER GUIDES section..

I believe that the speed of a fire-team is taken as an average of those placed in it. This enables them to retain position relative to each other.
If any member is then fitted with a modification that carries a speed reduction as a negative, it is also calculated as an average over the whole fire-team.

I've done a test, and seems that the members do slow the team down. Thank you for helping.
This is the most useful thread I've ever read on this site. 2 of those in the list i had bandolier on and is doing nothing because they don't have a fire rate at all.
Where's the bloodlust info You told that we can have that.
have you even bothered to read the stats on this post ??? the bloodlust info ( for kara ) is there .............
KARA
Damage Per Round: 25750
Clip Size: 3
Fire Rate: 4 / Second
Reload: 2 Seconds
Any time Kara or a Member of her SF Team kills any enemy unit, she gains a 10% bonus to Damage and a 5% increase to Reload Speed, up to a maximum of 200% bonus Damage (after 20 kills) and 50% increased Reload Speed (at 10 kills, thus reducing her reload time to 1 second when maxed).
