You can't use your own fleets. You can't use uranium for repair insurance. You can, however, spend as much as you care to spend on 1/2 repairs. Hmmm.... Where is the benefit to play value in this change? The only benefits I see is to Kix's bottom line and Visa's interest income. Another attempt to slice open the goose that laid the golden egg.
There's a reason that Kixeye has what's been euphemistically called a "trust deficit" with it's players. This would be a prime example of how Kix earned that deficit. Your players aren't all that dumb. We can see a screw job when it's coming.

So the community asks for less Raids and now you give us 2 a month. Difference is this "RAID" you cant use your own ships so you dont get benefit of the vxp you would earn to help your day to day game, you get to pay to repair ships you dont own.

this is a BAD idea...you have removed any chance of non coiners getting anywhere near top prizes, and even the coiners will be venting their anger, and you know personally that we always point the guns at you Rooster...you're the CM, you're OUR middle man with Kixeye, so when we start shooting, you're the first target we go for besides Harbin (AKA the biggest Douche-Man).

The only way I see to save the FAT with this new format is SW hull ONLY or another low base armor hull and research weapons and specials only. I think that would be a lot of fun and the only way this is going to fly without killing the FAT all together. The hull has to be buildable as instant repair with reasonable weapons and a level playing field. Coiners can add armor and win more but those that can not afford to coin repairs for 400 fights can fight all day and night for points to get prizes. Make it about driving skill and hard work with the coiners able to do less work if they pay. If this is not acceptable I would suggest to put the FAT back the way it was two FAT's back or donate the toybox to goodwill and cancel the FAT.

If an idea is good, you pee,****, vomit and throw chopped up little devil clowns in it then mix it up and despite how messed up it is, with everyone telling you it is messed up, you keep doing it.
No one at, Kixeye has any right to make fun of the "tinfoil" hat brigade. You give them so much ammunition that the only other option is just plain old simple 'terminal stupidity'. I think they already took care of some of that. Dev quality really went downhill a while back after that let go occurred. I think it correlates pretty well...def not a coincidence.

I enjoyed previous tourneys...but I'm out on this one. Coining raids is enough for me. As a casual coiner i wont be sinking money into this.

they didn't swing and miss. They shot the pitcher and catcher then beat them repeatedly about the groin area and when the bat broke, the bat boy came out and got Kixeye a new bat so they could repeat the beating.

thank you kixeye for fuking up yet another great aspect of this game wich was one of the only reasons 90% of the people actually did the arena was because of the repair insurance and not having to be concerned with adding another 200 bucks to this game just to keep up to date with some of the latest tech when are you people going to learn were tired of putting so much money in to this game already

Mr Doomrooster sir, we like to think you are an intelligent fellow. Now, you know as well as us this is a coin grab. Forget following the company line for one moment, you know only too well KIXEYE are trying their hardest to squeeze players wallets to breaking point and this is an extreme measure at finding that point. A fair cheaper, less greedy format could be introduced to give a sense of what changes are needed for future iterations without pissing off the players. YOU KNOW THIS, AND WE THE PLAYERS KNOW THIS.

Consult with the players before pulling stunts like this on us and more of us will be receptive to ideas leading to changes in the game.

Hold on a second here.... In the last tourney your customers did not like how you took uranium repairs away if you wanted a kill streak. Then you address those concerns by taking uranium repairs away altogether???? Oh, but we're only punishing you by 1/2 repair. So that's good right? Um, no.

1) Make changes that irritate the customer base. Customers are going to complain. 2) Follow up with changes that totally OUTRAGE the customer base. 3) Oh! Now we go back to number 1 and it makes us look like we're giving the customers a deal! The complaints go away! Customers will be happy they're not getting TOTALLY screwed. They are content with being PARTIALLY screwed.
Instead of just ranting let me give you some info to help you out Kixeye. Do you see how sports teams need the small market teams to compete on an even level? They need them to compete to keep their respective sports alive as a whole so there is still interest. You need non coiners and mid coiners to be able to compete just like the sports teams need their small market teams to compete.

Last FAT you removed the 40% uran payback, not cool, but you compensated that with giving **** good VXP, so all in all the FAT was good. But taking away the Insurance and base all repairs on coins..... man, very bad idea. This pretty much rules out the majority of players from participating...

Seriously what does everyone think of only an instant repair build able hull and slight advantage to coin repair for a little more armor? Make it about driving skill and hard work. Slight advantage to the whale coiners to satisfy the profit margin but some worth given to hard work as a Tournament should be. This is the only way I see this format working. Maybe we can cut down on the negative comments and rally behind this as a way to save this FAT from being the last?

The one fun thing in the game, the developers took away. You're going to have your whales coining their arses off, but a major majority are all going to be hacks. Also, for Doom himself, you threw up your arms when asked what the developers were thinking with expecting us to coin this. That doesn't exactly instill confidence to me that the only 'person' from kix that talks to about what is upcoming, knows what the community wants and is readily relaying that information to the developers, nor asking the obvious question to the developers of 'why would you do this to the community'. If Kix makes a decent profit on this, there are idiots out there that need to have their bank cards, and credit cards confiscated. Otherwise, hacks are gonna hack, and kix is going to hope they catch them....to only give them the accounts back later. See you at raid. Can't wait to see what new 'great' idea the devs are going to have for that.
