And so, what else could be the motivations of VEGA if it's not only to get profit? i thought that they wanted all the resources for themselves, hence why they started whipping out the miners?. 

It seems like if "R" wanted to convince somebody that they are the rulers and have complete control of everything (the miners know is not true ), what takes me to my next question, who is this propaganda directed at? is it to the people in "old Earth"? and what is the purpose behind it? 

I'd also like to see what R has to say about the "space ****" since from the beginning of the message it was stated that there was no sign of life or colonization detected, this intrigues me the most. Were the "space turds" there when VEGA miners first arrived at the region? 

And here just a quick crazy theory that i have come up with trying to answer this with the info we know atm, lol :

What if VEGA is not the only corporation actually mining for resources? i mean, there could be others competing for space domination (the reason i think this is because, as said earlier, they didn't found any kind of colonization of the region, which leads me to think that there are possibly different factions out there controlling other sectors of space) and VEGA knows that if they show any kind of weakness they could be in trouble by those factions and/or the miner rebellion. Maybe VEGA is preparing a massive secret army in "old Earth" to prevail once and for all and that's why they require so much resources. Let alone alien existence.

This 2nd story opens a lot of speculation and makes it interesting at least for me, keep them coming!

Perhaps Old Earth was destroyed at some point and was lost in antiquity. Now, VEGA has rediscovered Old Earth which is why they have increased the quota on resources needed to rebuild Old Earth in their own image. VEGA World  

Question: What in the hell is a level 3 loyalty check and how would a test like that even be conducted?

Primary word: Frisk.

In my mind a Loyalty check would start out as a full inspection of the persons life, their residence turned upside down, and any communications reviewed for possible signs of disloyalty.  This would lead into hours of abuse, physical labor, and questioning to break down the persons will that tears throw dishonest statements much like Russian special forces training.  All the while, a team of investigators are reviewing multiple measurable diagnostic systems and compare it to information gain from interrogation and from investigative means into the persons life.  At the end of the session, information is reviewed, analyzed, and a determination is made to the loyalties of that person.  A favorable determination means you live and I would expect some sort of small party and award for that Person by family, friends, and co-workers to demonstrate VC appreciation.  A negative determination if the individual is lucky means death if the placement and access was low.  If the individual placement and access was note worthy and the individual was determined to be somewhat of a centerpiece, the individual will be further interrogation, receive behavioral modification and conditioning in a attempt to create a double agent.  However if that fails the person will only be kept alive so long as he serves a purpose, once that purpose ends so does that individual.
