The best weapon for FVF will never be a weapon that has 70% accuracy.
Strategy is more alive then ever. Ive noticed kix moving in a very positive direction with weapons like distrupter cannons,chain guns and impulse guns
Just because you fight retards that stack their low evade short weapon range fleets when fighting impulse fleets. Derp derp derp. Dont think this this weapon is overpowered
it has some strengths and it has some weaknesses. If you think its going to be solution to every problem you could not be more wrong
Tell that to the guy who spanked a NC fleet with a evade mcx fleet with assault missiles and sfb3, and barely got scratched.
Counters already exist, i had worked out a new base design that would stop them a few days after the raid.
Spending another 40 days refitting my guard fleet and changing turrets is a different story. Not in a hurry to do that.
This weapon is going to be a little tough to beat, but we will mate, also we will use it, and we will beat it, if you can't do either get out of the game. or carry on being a victim. I am so tired of people telling me my game is over. My game is great fun, and win or lose, I am LOVING this game, I will keep defending my base, and doing what I do, I win most of the time and that is good enough for me. Sorry for rambling.

Dnx came, people cried(guilty) that it was too powerful for game. Still dominates even after the christmas raids last yr when I git them, threshers came out with mal5, same voices different day, hellstrikes with reaver rockets same thing, over And over, big bad ships And weapib ruining game. Still here still playing still complaining. Some have adapted And or trying to see what works. All it is doing for me is helping with a.i. Targets. Which i play game mostly for
I think im almost at my last legs of the game and ironically it has nothing to do with the gameplay.
ive opened 2 tickets since Xmas about really simple glitches (not in my favour) that had really simple fixes and customer support has just mocked me and dragged each problem out for as long as possible before getting solved.
I can handle comms going down every now and again.
i can handle crashing when i use relay towers
i can handle entering a battle and instead of ships and buildings, only seeing health bars
i can handle starting a rocket build a dozen times before it keeps building and doesnt delete itself
I can handle the long build and repair times
i can handle the constant stream of new hulls making my freshly built ones outdated
etc etc
What gets me is when i send a ticket to request a simple fix to a obvious problem
in this case a missing drac base blueprint after sending them a picture of me finishing the base and receiving the blueprint
( i screenshot all my bp drops now, as this has happened before)

Thank you for your reply. One player will receive a blueprint piece or bonus reputation for each victorious battle, regardless of how many players are involved. This does mean that if fewer people are involved in the victory, the greater your chances of winning a blueprint are. I hope this clears up any confusion!
In the meantime ive hit another 4-5 drac bases, got that blueprint again, and finished all my blueprint for drac bases.
This shows me that customer satisfaction is not very high on kixeyes priorities.
Kix is happy to be a company that everyone loves to hate. complain all you want, as long as we get paid, theres no problem.
I do coin.
And all i expect in return is that kix is grateful and treats me like a valued customer.
The impression i get every time i inform them of a glitch in their game, is that im just being a pain in the arse.

The reason launchers ruined the game and caused me to comprehensively quit is that they ruined one of the deep reasons BP was fun for me:

Best weapon for most fleets for most purposes now is launcher. This is stupid, this is boring and this kills the game. I have not logged in since the start of the launcher raid. I have retired from game, retired from locust and this post will be my last interaction with a game that was a 3 year addiction on which I spent thousands of dollars.

I have been toying with the idea of quitting the game also, i haven't so far as its the people i enjoy spending time with too, i have seen you around in different sectors and have fought with a couple of your alliance members, you are right in in respect to the launcher being giving those without any ability to level bases that they would not normally be able to hit with success, i'm level 68 and i still do not have javs in my base (first one a day away)
i have seen a NC fleet die in a base, but this is an exception not the rule, i coined my hellstrikes and regret it now, it was a complete waste of money, it has stopped me now from coining any fleets at all, if they're outdated after a month or two its just not worth it, kixeye has lost it in respect to BP, the game is all about the money and its driving the fun out of the game, without the fun there is nothing..

Sure, right now there is no base defence about it, but people whinged and moaned about Tritons, DNX, MCX, Drones and HS.....but once it was countered or people figured out how to defend against them, they got on with life.
Yes I think its overpowered, and I've even seen a fleet of Stingrays fitted with them take a 60+ base. But I don't plan on quitting because of one weapon.
The points raised are interesting and I feel true. Where are we or this game heading, the distances are getting larger and larger, I dare say give it a year with the rate things are coming out, and you'd be able to sit in a corner and obliterate a persons base without even entering it

i guess if people coin repairs for bases etc, they work hard to earn medals etc, then kix brings out a high powered weapon with little defense, it makes a mockery of all your hard work and coins to obtain medals right?
This weapon is all I have seen hit my base since it come out. Getting pretty boring. My guard stands no chance. Has high evade and same weapon equipped. Yeah people say this whenever a new powerfull hull comes out but.... The rate at which the op hulls are coming is just getting stupid. The medal system may as well have been reset.
If it's not new I don't get hit by it. Nukes aren't that impressive yeah I got leveled, but a few tweeks and they'll die easy. I'm just against defense right now. It's plain boring.
The D92 U is hardly better than Assault Missiles on almost any other hull than the Nuke Cruiser, and even that combo is not invincible.
Im guessing you been living under a rock for the past month or so. I have 4 mcx with light armors and 5 launchers on each. I have taken some big bases with these. Bases I would normally have trouble taking out with a prep and hells or any other fleet. Ive also lost them but usually to bad driving or not having the bullseye crew equipped. They are most definately op at the moment and the bullseye crew working with them is pathetic. I changed these four mcx from assault missile and they were usually dead after killing 3 or 4 turrets (which is what they were built to do)

It is possible to defend against the IL but not when Bullseye crew is attached, they need to fix that asap coz its getting really old really fast.
