Noob needs help with fleet setup
Hello I`m new to this game and need help with lv. 15 and higher cargos. Ships I currently got is voyager corvette, harrier frigate, genesis cruisers and Longbow destroyers. Weapon, shield techs i got available is:
weapons:
Pulse ray 5
Rail driver 3
Scatter missile 2
Disruptor ray 1
Shields:
Spectral shield 2
Shockwave shield 1
Deflector shield 1
Armor:
Plasteel 5
Cargo/thrusters :
Basic cargo 2
Rotation thrusters 2
Rear thrusters 1
Strafe thrusters 1
Iridiuim magnets 1
Sweep launcher 1
That`s all I have researched so far. I will greatly appreciate any help on what to use and work towards.

well, if ya put disrupter ray 1, research shock 2, and put plate 5 on 6 harriers, and then learn to dodge railgun type weapons, you should easily be able to do lvl 15's
Don't put armor on Harriers...
Just walk out there with the second laser you can earn (disruptor?) and Shock 2. You can auto anything under 15 with ease using that. For fleets higher you might want to switch to Rail Driver and try to dodge things that come at you. Harriers are good at getting out of the way of things. With the right tactics a Rail Driver Harrier will take on almost any planet cargo.
a good setup i use to take down level 30 cargos is disruptor ray 2, shock 2, iridium armor 1 (or tritanium armor 2) and thats it

Kixeye, maybe you could automatically allow links to other posts on your own forum ?
And if you want to aprove them first, maybe it could actually be done ?
This is my setup and I have been hitting lvl 17's and below. I have found fleet control to be important with this setup.
Spectral Shield II
Plasteel IV
And 2 Rail Driver II's
There may be better setups out there and I have only started playing this past weekend, but its working for me.
