So, From experence ive lernt that the Graviton Ray Turret A.K.A Heavy Polaron Turret is kinds bad, but now im beingtold by a lot of people that its not that bad. Wondering if level 5 Graviton Turret is good for base defence or not.

They make idiots try and avoide them instead of paying attention to the other guns. Thats why I have one.
Only at high levels. 2 on your base gives nighthawks a beating.

Ilike them as one of my faviorates, Only at high lvls ofc. They are good @ eating shields low DPS but projectile speed is high and they shoot 3 shots at once. I have 2 of them level 5 in my base!
Its only really suited for low to middle level players, once you start seeing mass driver longbows and broadswords then its time to go for the Fusion Torpedos as the 7000 range is not enough to hit those long range destroyers.
poloron isnt for protection against snipers if the sniper does go in that range then thats just a terrible piloting
polorons good for killing MD NH preppers and from what ive seen it actually does manage to always hit torpedo venom ships and at lvl 5 those things do good damage, whereas running battleships do manage to evade alot of the other turret shots like plasma/gauss/md/torp. Theyre good for protection against circling venoms, however i dont think more than 2 is a good idea because their dps is still relatively low.

I've never seen them as good. Even at higher levels they still have low DPS compared to the fleets that you'll be facing.

DPS rating on this weapon is low because it fire rate is low but when it fires it hit hard i like this weapon as it's very got at high levels for hitting hard in just a few hits and if positioned to give bridge full coverage makes a mess of blitz fleets and also those pesky MD NH prep fleets.
