There is a way to predict a Rouge Faction Base's layout

One must have a good amount of knowledge of each faction as well as each faction's past events and therefor which technology each faction introduced into the game

For example:
Hellhounds introduced shock technology into the game in Shockwave, so Hellhounds Bases will probably have things like shock turrets, tanks, and troopers. Other standard units being in the mix, of course.
Another example:
Red Locust introduced drone silos, so higher level Red Locust bases will have drone silos

Note: This theory gets more and more obvious when you deal with higher level rouge bases.

    Armoured corps 30s and 35s won't have stingers in watchtowers :))
    Just another player...Any achievements I made in WC have been rendered worthless by recent events!!

    the Faction in control of a Rogue HAS NO EFFECT ON THE LAYOUT

    What determines the Layout is the LEVEL of the Rogue Base. 

    Some Rogue facts ( excluding Level 40's ):
    • Rogues spawn Levels : 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 & 35
    • The Rogue Level has no effect on the Rogue Faction in control of it.
    • The Rogue Faction in control has no effect on the Layout or Level of the Base.
    • The Layout is determined by the Level of the Base.
    • Each Level has several Layouts with different defensive makeups all with different strengths and weaknesses.
    • Re-spawning Rogues usually come back as the same Level ( not always ) but may not have the same Layout.
    • The Spawning Level of the Rogue is usually determined by the Players Levels that are in the immediate area of the Rogue.

    Duh... I thought everyone knew this. True it isn't obvious at low levels but at higher levels it is very clear cut.

    My clan also known as the Dark Knights, has grown to be quite powerful over the past couple of months.
    So much so we are having a constant influx of members.

    This is just wrong.  For example, show us a screen shot of a lvl 25 rog base with a drone silo that is NOT red locust.  Faction has a DIRECT effect on layout.  Anyone who says otherwise does not hit rog bases for resources.

    Yeah sorry Troy, but faction does determine layout, scout every Red Lokust 25, its either the one with the silo or moving Humvees.

    Lol 25 rogues now have silos? Lmao next thing you know they'll have lvl 4 platforms and maxed widow makers in them :P

    The one Red Lokust 25 with a silo has been around since I started palying in June... It's not that bad.

    Kixeye has been making changes to rogues.

    There use to be every level 2 through 30, 35 & 40's  but now they are just level that are multiples of 5. Which means maybe they change the rules about the Factions and Layouts.


    So, I will start documenting them and see what I find.  It will take a while to be sure. Some layouts are rare.

    Good job @TroyW posting a picture of a rogue from 6 months ago. If you were to have spent maybe 30 mins looking on the map you have noticed that you were wrong and wouldnt have come off as such an ss. Faction is directly associated with layout now.

    You could also see that Eastern Horde bases loves fire-related units and napalm turret. This is because they brought the FAV and the napalm turret into the event store. (Maybe they will have gunners customized to incendinary rounds next time)
